Hi,
First of all, thank you for this map! It's really awesome!
So, I found the abandoned ship, but only found 4 lapis lazuli in one of the chests. Shouldn't I find 9? (To make a lapis lazuli block and take it to the Victory Island Monument?)
I have carefully looked everywhere, but only found 4... :S

HAHAHAHAH never mind, just found it! BRILLIANT!!!!
I started doing a letsplay of this map It's my first ever letsplay and first ever youtube video xD *nervous nervous* Thanks for making such an awesome map!
I have to say, I'm really enjoying this map, even more so than any of Vechs' maps. You've managed to innovate the ctm concept in several ways:
1. A truly freeform exploration map. Most ctm maps involve going through linear "levels" in order to find the wool, but this map just gives you a wide open space full of cool stuff to explore at your own pace and solve with your own playstyle.
2. A more relaxed difficulty level. From what I've played, most ctm maps revolve around making the challenge as hard as possible. While there's nothing wrong or bad about this philosophy, it usually leads to long sections of grinding for resources and other boring roadblocks that get in the way of the fun. While this map has some challenging moments, for the most part it's pretty chill and relaxed...almost like going on a vacation to a tropical island :3. This allows players to do things at their own pace, while helping retain the feel of typical survival minecraft; maybe you want to hunt for resources in the many cave systems? Maybe you want to start a farm, build a treehouse or convert the abandoned ship into a shelter (the latter two I've done). These goals are all easily within the player's reach, and provide a nice break from wool-hunting.
3. The insane amount of content. The main thing that first attracted me to the map was the promise of two separate monuments to complete. When I first got to Victory Island and saw the monuments, I thought "wow, I have a lot of work ahead of me!"...then I turned around and saw the Quest House. When I read through them all and the sheer amount of side-quests and activities hit me, I was truly impressed. I've been playing for more than a week, and I've only found a few of the wool pieces, and a couple of the landmarks (giant cake and abandoned ship). I get the feeling that I'll be playing this for a while longer yet.
To wrap things up, this is probably my favorite adventure map I've played, and it deserves far more hits than it's gotten. 10/10. I hope that it becomes more popular, and I look forward to any new maps you choose to make in the future (if you've already made other maps, I'd like to know!).

wow thanks for the awesome review. i'm glad your enjoying the map. i made a map called Obsid's Pyramid, but it needs balancing and I haven't yet updated it to 1.3 yet, and i might do that soon. also, if you ever need any hints or tips send me a PM. it's the least i could do for the nice feedback =D
Very good map! I have been some modifications in the terrain (I made a fortress near the farmers' house) And I've found a lot of things. But, Where the **** is the giant cake!
Thanks! Watch some let's plays and you'll see it's one of the first things people find =P
This is soooooo much fun. I feel like this is how minecraft should be! Honestly I may or may not do the whole ctm thing, but even just exploring here is a blast.

The quests got me after all. Found a nice farmhouse to use as a base (I love not having to build it!) and am working on the pirate ship now. Playing on hard and no deaths so far, but a TNT trap almost got me!
I only wish I could watch Let's Plays without ruining the surprises for myself...
don't worry it wasn't you XP
thank you =D
excelent work!
Im a Chilean Minecrafter (YEAH!)
thank you very much
