After many months of work, my newest adventure map, Avatar: Crafting Pandora is finally complete!!!
Choose your side! Enter the incredible world of Pandora as either an RDA soldier, or a Na'vi warrior. Complete missions that vary from hunting for items to battling hoards of enemies. Visit locations like Hometree, Hell's Gate, the Floating Mountains, and the massive Valkeryie.
Each side contains 10 story missions, and 5 bonus missions. The RDA map also includes a special 6th bonus mission, where you must take on the ultimate challenge: defeat the mighty Last Shadow.
Here's the map trailer:
Huge thanks to Boss100% and Mitch1224. They both contributed to the huge job of making the texture packs for the maps. Also, the texture packs are HD packs, so you'll need MCpatcher to properly view them.
This is the first release of the map, so please, let me know if you find any glitches or bugs, and I will correct them as fast as possible. Also, I would really appreciate general feedback on the map!
To install the map, simply unzip the file, put the zipped texture pack file in your Minecraft texture pack folder, and place the other folder (called "Avatar Crafting Pandora RDA/Na'vi"). The text file contains the rules! Read them! And the notes folder has all the notes you will need. If anyone has any problems, just post and I'll see if I can answer your question.
to that weird looking hometree:
Thers a nice mod called Single Player Commands...
If you got some skill with that you can easyly create a BIG tree :tongue.gif:
Or if you use MCedit you can just randomly set trees everywhere and as big as you want.
Even with WorldPainter you can make maps such as these pretty easy
I use single player commands. Unfortunately, I needed to make it hollow. For some reason I'm just not good at recreating trees to make them look right, but it's something I may edit on the map.
Had a go at your map, played the Na'vi
Love the texture pack, Multiple suns where cool! Comments: Do not read if you have not played map yet! You should give it a go.
Had a bit of a hard time finding the cave. You say Tree of voices, so I thought as I
saw multiple trees I was in the wrong place, but worked it out in the end :smile.gif:
Had to cheat a bit and make more swords as my first one broke!
Was a little bit shocked the pork chop was blue! Worried me a bit eating it,
hope it was not an Na'vi! :smile.gif:
Did not find all gold at end, I ran out of torchs and gave up.
Man there seemed to be heaps of creepers on this map, don't know if I was just unlucky!
Oh also, being allowed to use TNT in a map is always good :tongue.gif:
I would give the map a good 9/10. Kept me entertained, but was frustrating in parts,
but you can't make it too easy! Hard to get the balance right.
to you and your texture crew(Boss100% and Mitch1224) for a great map.
Hope to see more... :biggrin.gif:

Thanks for a detailed review! I really appreciate it. I'll admit, sometimes the map gave me trouble, but I wanted to get a good spectrum of challenges, from searching to combat. I'm really glad you liked it, and once again, I appreciate the feedback.

Irayo
Yeah, that was the biggest problem with the map, making Hometree. It was difficult to get to look like a tree at all.
