Hey Floorberry! Just thought you might like to keep up-to-date with my and Sieben's progress, so far we've recorded and uploaded 9 parts of the video, that's 3 hours so far! More parts coming soon :smile.gif:
I loved the map, good sir. Me and a friend made a play through videos for this map.
Whats with the rails we found like 8, and it said there was a secret. What is that we couldn't find it. It was frustrating because we did the whole thing. Can you tell me whats up with that?
Nice map. The only thing I didn't like, is that sometimes you can go to previous puzzles.
Quote from Garret Rickey, Portal 2 developer »
Airlocks were introduced mainly as a way to allow players to focus on individual puzzles. In some of our early investigations, areas contained puzzles that were meant to be solved as a group, as well as others that were for individual solution. But we found that if players could move freely between them, they logically assumed that the individual puzzles were part of one big puzzle. This had bad results. For clarity, we created these airlock-like spawn rooms that act as checkpoints between puzzles. Once both players enter the airlock, we lock off access.

Ah, yeah. I did use airlocks and one-way paths in places, but didn't want to go overboard with them where it wasn't vital for fear of being too controlling; I didn't want to have players feeling like being shuttled from puzzle to puzzle through some narrow linear corridor (even though that's what's really happening anyway). I do understand that this can create ambiguity as to where puzzle start and end, but I try to make this apparent through stylistic/architectural changes instead.
But yes, it's fair criticism and when I update this map next (whenever Minceraft 1.2 is out), I will be looking to refine some of these things some more. Thanks!
My friend SycoSyth and I tried playing your map but we were unable to complete it very far because much of the redstone wouldn't update... :sad.gif: We did enjoy your map very much but sadly we couldn't complete it. We did however keep our tradition of blowing the living hell out of it! ^.^ I will post a link to the video once it's uploaded. BTW it's SycoSyth's channel. :biggrin.gif: Good job on the redstone! I really liked how you left notes on the redstone explaining what the circuits do! I did learn a good bunch redstone wise! Thanks for the awesome map! I think my friend and I will try your other Co-op map next!
Holy camel touching hippo licking walrus riding a llama.
That was long, intense, frustrating, and beautiful.
11/10.
edit: took my gf and I about 5 hours (over the course of 2 days) to complete this.
We got stuck on the glowstone numbers for quite awhile... and just the house was annoying :tongue.gif: but super unique... I'd love to be as talented as you.
HELP!
Check your PM!
Thanks for the help! But I think were stuck again, or we missed something O.O
We get to the door and there is just stone behind it..

You need to set up a server running this map. Then join it with your friend.
Would you like to know more?
Also thanks wannabedeveloper, Kazhang, and Oceans_Man for your comments. :smile.gif:
It seems so good, you should make another!
