Well, i really enjoyed how you took everything that a water park has to offer, such as shops and food, rather than just making the water attractions themselves! I enjoyed the architecture through the entire park along with how you kept with the theme! Overall you took everything into consideration and I can really tell that you put time into this. 9/10 :biggrin.gif: :biggrin.gif: :biggrin.gif: :laugh.gif: :laugh.gif:
Last night, my son and I took an SMP dip in your pools and slides!
Overall theme - great idea, and not just another waterslide
The scale is perfect
The shops are a great touch
Even the ticket counter looks good
You really put trapdoors to good use
Diligent work on the trees and scale of the place
Well lit at night
LOVE the signs; "You must be this tall to ride"
Clever, "Lifeguard Steve"
REALLY liked the garbage cans
#1 issue - boats are getting stuck at top of slides and breaking after the first or second drop. I don't know if there's anything you can do about this.
Would be awesome with a custom texture pack, particularly on the umbrellas and glowstone (may cause a little bit of re-blocking). And make the boats have a colored bottom but transparent walls to like waterslide mats.
You could easily turn this into a scavenger hunt map (like Prof_Snape's Sesame Street). Have players try to find 100 hidden sponges.
If not going for a texture pack - think about replacing some of the wood/stone umbrellas with colored wool?
(We might have missed this?) Add a vendor with a chest of colored beach towels (colored wool)
Could replace some of the pool deck blocks with colored wool to simulate beach towels on the ground
SMP spawns on top of the glass
Why do some the archway signs have the name of the area twice?
One of the archway signs into Kahuna Falls has the name two different ways. "Kahuna <carriage return> Falls" and "Kahuna Falls".
There are 2 blocks of ice in the Kahuna Falls collection pool at the bottom of the slides.
You should try to put some waves in the big pool. Maybe drain it and lay down rows of water every 3 or 4 blocks?
What would it look like if you used alternating blocks of redwood/normalwood on the tree trunks?
Squids. I don't think you can do anything about it, but the squids kill the atmosphere.
On the black/orange/green slide... to be slightly more symmetrical, consider making both walls of the middle slide orange, and just having black and green on the outer walls. Right now, the green makes it look slightly lopsided.
In the lazy river, there are parts where the water goes down into a tunnel, and then it's extremely difficult to get back out because both ends are waterfalls down into the tunnel. Don't know if there's a good fix for this.
Could use a vertical waterfall (not a slide) somewhere as decoration, and a kiddie pool. Maybe when you expand the park.
You could add a 'bumper boats' pvp arena?
The boat is a nice touch, but the sail looks a little off? And wanted to have a way to go into it.
There's one section I could find where you put fence posts on a diagonal, and they are not connecte to each other. This always bugs me.
If I had to score it I would start with:
