That was awesome. The levels actually look like what they're supposed to be, and the transitions are deceivingly short. I've never seen text maps before, and they look great in this.
I finished the map eventually. That ending was sort of empty. I just saw the sand falling and then i asked this: "Now what"? I'm under the same problem at my map, and i'm attempting to expand it further.
Did you read TheEnd.jpg? It wraps up the story...There is no way in Minecraft to end a map other than saying "The End", it's a sandbox game.
this was my ending inventory! i had a lot of fun playing this!!!! This is actually my first adventure map ever so my word wont mean to much by comparison. I really dont think i am the greatest minecraft player, im pretty good but im not inventive or anything, i dont understand redstone, and im not creative but i seriously enjoy playing, and i wanted to try my hand at an adv map! I felt it may have been a little too easy, it was very linear but again i dont know too much about adv, but i still had a ton of fun and i really liked that the text was all in game and the tv tie ins were well executed, well done!
TLDR: First adv map, too linear, lots of fun though
Very well done by the way!! My friend and i just got done playing it and had a blast. Thanks for the twist in the adventure genre! i found 19 diamonds!
The notes didn't take too long. I used a program called Image to Map and created 128x128 images for each note (using size 6 font :sad.gif:). Then you just craft maps and replace the image on each one with your notes.
This map had the most interesting and creative story of any adventure map I've played, and the gameplay was great too! I was very sad to finish it.. It needs a sequel!

This was absolutely stellar, my friend, TylerG and I, both played this together, and it was amazing!
We had a blast, thanks so much for taking the time to put this together!
We found a total of nineteen diamonds, would you be willing to tell us how many there are total?
And again, thanks for the awesome map!

Don't Ask
What didn't you like about the map? So I can see if I can cater to your needs next time oh holy one.
I used a program called Image to Map, which converts image files to map files and displays them when you open the map :smile.gif:
And arent you the one who made the black house?
