There ain't much left of the world these days. The gods have forsaken us, there's no denying that. But still you press on. For what? A chance to sift through the ashes one last time? The hope to one day be called a hero? Whatever your reason, you've got a lot of work to do. The corruption won't leave without a fight, so you better get started.
It is feasible to create an insanely large map and still have it be fun. Basically it supports what you said earlier.
I come off with a bad note on maps with more than 7 intersections in them. Red's made me hear enough to know that the pool of ideas in CTM shrinks rapidly, and that when you have 30 areas in a map, one or two of them is bound to be just a repeat of an earlier one in theme.
There's no real scale to describe difficulty that's Nightmare Realm and above, mainly because all of them usually use something different in the map that makes them hard (using NR as an example, minimal resources). It seems to all be tied up in this big web of ideas that sorta don't push the boundaries.
Oh God don't buy a laptop. I can build a PC for 600$ and its faster then any laptop.
Some people need the portability of a laptop and don't have the money for two machines (read: college/university students). Talk about a pain in the butt moving your PC between your house and dorm/flat/whatever they have in america.

It's pretty much why I have a laptop, and there are great high-end laptops out there, you just need to find them.

Agreed. My laptop is boss, and I take it in to college every day.

SH maps beaten: Sea of Flame II, Infernal Sky II, Kaizo Caverns, Nightmare Realm, Sunburn Islands, Spellbound Caves, Waking Up and counting....
I can't stand hunching over a laptop and I can not play games with a track pad ;_;
And if you want a portable PC you can use a mini ITX case, its about the same size as a laptop.

War is where the young and stupid are tricked by the old and bitter into killing each other. The good people die, and so do the bad ones, but the weak people, like me, we have inherited the earth.

You can attach a mouse to your laptop, you know.
EDIT: Hybran beat me to it by about...30 sec. DANGIT, VECHZ! HYBRAN!
From Rock's most recent LP, I have a question for Vechs
Is Willhelm Cliffs a Borderlands 2 reference? Because if so, screw Willhelm. That jerk killed my party like 5 times, far less than the Warrior

Yes, we all know Pigget Panic is amazing. But we can't simply leave out CHICKEN BLASTER XTREME TURBO, can we?
WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
Waking up's absurdly hard.
I'll make a better information picture at some point.

This is why I use a list of items and its data values instead of searching up a certain item. :)
Oh my god. I was reading the Durability list instead of Data Value. I am so sorry people.
Meh.

Who's Red?
Dear...dear god.
Kill me.
Bang
No, he's actually just a regular here. Does it really even matter who he is?
Considering it's slightly relevant to the context of my post up there, yes, yes it is.
And considering that I decided I wanted a page get, I mean to the left and down.

You ever heard of a portable mouse, mousepad?
1. What's the Shawshank Redem-
Naw, just kidding. I have Google.
2. Yes. It matters. I don't know him, which is why I asked who he is.

VECHZ!HYBRAN!Super Hostile maps I've completed: Spellbound Caves (Yeah, I pretty much suck.)

This is going to take a while.
