Either you guys are all trolling by giving me incredibly small map sizes, or I'm stupid. :/
We're trolling.
Honestly, there's no "good" map size. Some maps can be really small, but packed in well to create lots of content, or can be really big and have next to no content in them.

Yeah, I can understand that. I'm just worried that I'll make something too small and then I'll have to fly around generating new chunks. X(
How much lag does an area spawner produce? Can it cause all chunks to be loaded?
I don't think so. That reminds me of a question, when I make a spawner when I quit, does the timer of the spawning time restart?

Every bloody CTM map series boasts that it's bigger, longer, and harder than other CTM series. It's almost as if it's a **** measuring contest. (bigger, longer, harder...)
So the timer continues? If so, I gotta remake the spawners or replace them

Oh my! I just noticed my username changed. To avoid confusion, yes, I am haxorquazar. But, I used that username back when I shared minecraft accounts with my brother, haxorquazar. I just recently got it changed to my IGN Well, anyhow, do you guys think Vechs should update deathblooms to use the new /effect command?

I need a little help with Kamyu's Custom Spawners. I'm trying to get a spider to spawn in an enchanted and named chainmail chestplate. They worked fine on lower tier spiders (no enchantments), but it just does not work with enchanted ones. Here's what I have typed in. When I go in my test world, everything works fine except the enchanted chestplate and boots (enchanted helmet works though).
Also, I guess this is a way of posting a screenshot when you haven't built the area. The area will be a middle-low class village/neighborhood/suburb infested with spiders. The area is fairly early, so pretty much all your equipment will be taken from your enemies.
The Data Scroll is a 1/10 drop from every custom mob in the map. These are for the truly devoted players who want to kill about 10 of every custom mob, from the lowly Rag Men to the unstoppable Bastion Ravagers. The player will then throw this into a hopper, causing a light to go off and receiving a Bestiary entry. Once all these lights and Bestiary Entries are obtained, you win the secondary goal and unlock a new area. For the tertiary/thirdendary goal, you need to gather 1 of every custom loot piece (some are extremely rare, some are extremely common) and throw them in the Bio-Synthesizer to unlock a new area. There ain't much left of the world these days. The gods have forsaken us, there's no denying that. But still you press on. For what? A chance to sift through the ashes one last time? The hope to one day be called a hero? Whatever your reason, you've got a lot of work to do. The corruption won't leave without a fight, so you better get started.

Oh lord, my computer just glitched like crazy. Hopefully the forums will clean up the 10-12 copy posts.

What happened to Super Hostile Roguelike Alpha #1?
I've asked that at least 10 times in the past 50 pages. Vechs has chosen not to respond, which means he's probably going to release an updated version of Infernal Sky II in the next few hours.

I will never finish that map, that is way too big.

Then make it really, really big. Just, unimaginably big.

If you mean the spawner acting as if it just spawned mobs, I don't think so. That would be a huge exploit if it does.
Nope, it resumes from where it left off.
So the timer continues? If so, I gotta remake the spawners or replace them
What is this exactly about? I'm intrigued yet again.
I'm working on something so that DJNess can rip it off and say it is his.
DJ, it is a joke.

In all seriousness, this project here is really neat, and will probably actually dissolve into another map. Like there isn't enough.
I prefer Japanglish. It's pretty cool desu.
