Ever since I discovered redstone in Minecraft I've wanted to make an Indiana Jones inspired short adventure.
And with the new dispensers I decided to finally give it a try.
After spending lots of hours on a few puzzles and traps I decided it was close enough to what I wanted.
A short adventure featuring several puzzles/traps often resulting in death when you fail.
Dying always result in having to delete the world and put the downloaded one back again.
There's even a reward for those who finish.
Here's a very short double speed fly-through video, all traps disarmed and puzzles pre-solved to not spoil anything.
This is just so you know a little bit about what to expect.
This was awesome! I'd love to see a sequel. Oh and the end was great...
the cake is a lie
Well I've thought about making a second one, which will be bigger, more dangerous and more arrows. I even have a few room ideas ready, but not nearly enough.
But this small one already took a good 7 hours to build through trial and error, so I think I'll start on a second one in a week or two.
To be honest after my first recording attempt I hated myself for making this, I died by an arrow shot by the very last dispensers in the last room.... I think this has happened to a lot of people, or maybe I'm just terrible at this game.
Why didn't anyone flame me for my stupid mistake? I just noticed in someone else's video that 113 was supposed to be 117. Meaning if you do would have done it like you should it wouldn't register.
I've fixed it now, but if there are any other fails on my side please notify me.
