Can you tell me how to install this? Looks amazing
I'm running a mac if it helps...
You might read this for the textures viewtopic.php?f=25&t=15786#p276833 and this for loading the map viewtopic.php?f=35&t=8108#p105088
Try those it should help.

You also get both flint and steel bars throughout the game, so you can actually make one yourself :smile.gif:

Here's my progress report...
- Made it to the Golden Tower
- Acquired the lever numbers to put in the 'up' position
- Found the first 'secret'
-Put levers that were not said to be 'up' into the 'down' position
.. and the Garden Door will not work despite the correct lever combination.. and I'm absolutely certain that I have the correct combination of levers.
I even went so far as to scout the courtyard, find an overgrown shed, and flip a switch there.. nothing happened.
Also, I cannot seem to find this 'secret tunnel' on the outer walls.. if it's talking about the sewer I also went through that and found nothing.. unless you really want me to dig deep.
To be honest though I really think that's where the content right now stops right?
everything worked fine for me....... all things were placed exactly where the signs led me to go....you must have missed something and/or have glitches......
The chest hidden in the garden was my wife's idea. She loves that lava.
Chapter 2 is almost complete, all I lack is fine tweaks and linear loot.
I am interested in hearing experiences during game play, helps with better designs in the future, so don't worry to much about giving secrets away.
This is great! My main problems were that some rooms are VERY hard to get into without getting raped right away, so I had to use peaceful at some points.
Often there was also way too many supplies available, and I was constantly clearing stuff out. When there's tons of food around, it's also not as scary or suspenseful. Also, skele's scare the bejesus out of me, but that's nothing new =P
This is the first time I've played a map like this, and overall had lots of fun =D
I give it four gold bars
wolfkun: Cool, It is fun to see the map on video. Thanks
FlamingBrad: When you use peaceful as a way of getting around, you will end up with extra supplies. I would rather have it a little too hard than too easy.
jamesfelicia: Chapter 2 will start at the portal. But I think I will upload a version with the whole story also.
wow man you have been doing a lot scene i last looked at your stuff! this is amazing!
this whole time ive been messing around with your old map makeing it more qwesty.
and you pump out something like this!
have you thought of the possiblility of linking the storyline from this to your old map?
maybe figure out a way to put the labyrinth in there to!
it would be a contemplation adventure-map!
the only problem i would see is a way to tie the story lines together without being to far out there.
and a way to make it easy to get to the start of whatever dungeon/quest you are on.
i can think of one way to do it, maybe have a rune-craft teliporter in the ruins of your previous castle, or at the end of it that takes you there?
i guess you could also just start out in a room, with teliporters to the start of each one of the dungeons. and at the end of that dungeon is a transporter that takes you to a room with the lever to open the door to the transporter to the next dungeon!
or just plain simply start in a room with a transporter to the start of each of the dungeons, and you get to pick.
could i have permission to try to get something like that to work then show it to you?
I'm going to do it anyways, but i wont post it unless your interested.
ive done something very similar to your old map and the labyrinth, already.
this could perhaps make a map that could entertain someone for mouths in the end!
regular mine-craft would never be the same after this.
-Spacefilm- Thanks, It looks cool and I like your ideas. Sounds like an enormous project, cant wait to see it. Maybe we can bounce a few ideas around.
shizznitskii: Nice to hear from you again. I would love to play some of your creations. There is a lot of helpful things being added all the time to make better adventure maps. I have been toying around with the idea of using some of the cool mods out there in an Adventure map or two. And yes, you can do what ever you want just as long as I get to play it lol.
pauleta2345: You would be better off buying it now, when it goes beta the price I'm sure will double.
I played for like a few hours
AND long story short I died
because of D**n Lava caught
me on fire, and I Rage Quit
and deleted the world...
Good story, eh?
I'm running a mac if it helps...

GKANG: Not sure why you are having problems, the link seems to work for me. Here is another link just incase. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/15597790/Four%20Towers.zip
I'll have to modify my splash screen to reflect the different chapters of four towers on my Youtube Channel now.. XD
