For what reason, I have redownloaded/reinstalled this many times, but i seem to never be able to check for updates to get samples, I have included the error below

Every time I open MCSkin3D.exe it crashes! Am I opening the wrong file or am I forgetting something? How did I manage to open this thing when I was 11 years old but not now?
I'm trying this out on my 1.8 format skin. And I love the ease of doing things with it. However, I must point out a couple of bugs. The head does not show through the transparency of the helmet unless I flip on and off various parts of the armor model and it's a full moon.
Also, the armor model does not paint on so well as the overlaps confuse the pencil tools and it paints in random places. I must paint only on armor layer part at a time. There may be other issues, but I have not found them yet.
Now a request. Would you mind adding a copy and mirror function that works on arm or leg parts? That would make the new model easier to paint.
I keep trying trying to download it...... but every time I try to load it, my computer freezes, then it says "Application Error!". The computer glitches, the program becomes unstable, and it just doesn't work. I wanna play this program so I can make mobs for my MCreator program. I REALLY want to make mobs. The only problem is, I can't load it without it glitching. Can anyone help me so I can continue with my modding?

(1) If you were a YouTuber and like to make different skins with the same face, I don't want to keep redrawing it...
(2) If you make it backwards (like me) on accident, it will be easier to fix it.
(3) I can't figure out how to use the stamp tool.

I personall was always a NovaSkin fan but since I found this I'm gonna give it a try and from what I see it might just replace it
