Hey guys, just want to say hello! I'm on holiday, haven't been so active at the programming site.. :tongue.gif: Sorry for that, @Paril.
I've been busy with school projects and big IMPORTANT exams..
So yeah. I'll be home in approximately two weeks :smile.gif:

When I attempt to drag skins around in the program (for example, moving a skin to another folder), I get this:at System.Windows.Forms.DragSourceHelper.AllowDropDescription(Boolean allow) in D:\projects\MCSkinner\DragDropLib\SwfDragSourceHelper.cs:line 374 at System.Windows.Forms.DragSourceHelper.CreateDataObject(Bitmap dragImage, Point cursorOffset) in D:\projects\MCSkinner\DragDropLib\SwfDragSourceHelper.cs:line 94 at System.Windows.Forms.DragSourceHelper.RegisterDefaultDragSource(Control control, Bitmap dragImage, Point cursorOffset) in D:\projects\MCSkinner\DragDropLib\SwfDragSourceHelper.cs:line 172 at System.Windows.Forms.DragSourceHelper.DoDragDrop(Control control, Bitmap dragImage, Point cursorOffset, DragDropEffects allowedEffects, KeyValuePair`2[] data) in D:\projects\MCSkinner\DragDropLib\SwfDragSourceHelper.cs:line 226 at MCSkin3D.SkinTreeView.OnMouseMove(MouseEventArgs e) in D:\projects\MCSkinner\Controls\SkinTreeView.cs:line 394 at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmMouseMove(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.TreeView.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam)Not really a big problem, but it would be nice to be able to drag stuff.
Honestly, I don't know what causes this. I got reports from two people on Windows XP Media Center, but it works fine on XP for me..
If you're willing, can I borrow you to do debugging on your machine? I can either walk you through it or do it for you, but it would really help us track down the issue with the COM drag/drop.
When you posted the picture of the pig template, I actually tried to drag it away. -facepalm-
Drag it away? lol
I got about 10 different MC models working fine in here. The only thing that 1.4 won't have support for is compound models (things like capes, sheep + sheep fur, endermen + endermen eyes, etc). Not sure how we're going to go about that yet. Also, no super-specific animations. Yet.
I am delaying the release of my "Blood and rust" skin until I get to play with this, as I just have a hard time with the mobs' textures, and loading and reloading is so tiresome.
Hey guys, just to let you know, I've added a new video at the top on the original post. Those of you having trouble understanding the program, check out SinfoolGamer's new video (). It goes very in-depth on using features in version 1.3.
My Review of your current paint abilities of MCSkin3D will be out tomorrow @ 9am PST.http://www.youtube.com/ZHX1138I'll be sure to post the direct link tomorrow morning via PM to you.best regards,ZHX1138Creator of the Puppet Hound Z Show.PS. I'll be contacting you sometime later this week about a interview on Skype.
The only thing you may have missed is explaining the RGBA/HSLA tabs, as people seem to miss those quite often, but I'm sure we can go over it later on :tongue.gif:
Yeah I knowingly skipped that because I felt it was self explanatory by saying that it has Photoshop abilities. I was mostly trying to gear the video to the common windows paint user.
I just finished adding it as annotation on the video to make that more clear. Also we can clarify it in the interview.
Thank you! I hate how those little creeps keep shuffling around in-game!
It makes texture approval so much harder. :laugh.gif:
One quick suggestion for a future version, would it be too difficult to add some level of shading? Maybe a time slider for 12:00 lighting, for example? And of course the option to disable shading to achieve the current look.

I am delaying the release of my "Blood and rust" skin until I get to play with this, as I just have a hard time with the mobs' textures, and loading and reloading is so tiresome.
Basically, getting a copy of Visual C# Express (a free program), and gathering some information for me by debugging the source code of MCSkin3D.
Yeah, sorry. We do have a version waiting, but we need Mac/Linux compilators.
Thanks!
