Go to Minecon 2013. There you can get a cape.

I went to minecon, and I have Show Cape setting on, yet I haven't got any emails, and my cape doesn't show up or even exist.

Actually, the guy with the bacon cape had his cape removed due to people asking notch for personal capes.

On a server i saw a person with a plain yellow cape and i have no mods.
So idk

Where is Minecon held? I really want a cape, but I do not know where.

Minecon only :/ But you could do an Optifine cape. A lot of people use Optifine so they'd see it.

Ah don't fell bad. Minecon is like Comiccon, but for minecraft. People who go can cosplay, see confrences, get capes, meet Notch; Jeb; and the others, a lots more. It's an annual event that changes location every year.

How do you go to minecon? is it a convention? or is it something on the internet?

What I want to know... is how exactly you get into Minecon. I mean, it's really rare. And really fun. Shouldn't everyone be able to get capes? Because I'm sure that it's really hard to get a ticket to Minecon, let alone get a cape from it.

I'm kind of a noob at all this tech-y stuff and I really want a cape and i don't want to buy one- what do I do?

How by getting into Minecon could get you a cape? You need any sort of code so you can get a cape after Minecon?

Info from a person at Minecon.
1. Buy tickets, which is the most difficult thing in your life.
2. Wait until the month they are doing it.
3. Mojang shall send you an email saying "Thanks for buying a Minecon Ticket! We hope to see you there! in the meantime, enjoy these capes on your skin.
4. Click one of the links (depending on the number of tixkets you bought)
5. Login to Minecraft.net and you GET IT!
6. That's not all tho, if you have Show Cape OFF in settings for minecraft, turn it on or you and others cant see it.
7. Prepare for noobs saying "you went to minecon?"

Congrats you have the cape! but it costed $109 USD each.....
