When I set out to create this texture pack I had one goal in mind.
I wanted to create a 64 pixel texture pack that was close enough to the original aesthetic of minecraftthat you could be playing for a while before you even realised the texture pack wasn't the default one.
Currently the majority of naturally occurring terrain blocks are finished and I'm currently working on the remainder of the terrain textures. I'm not so good at the item textures so I'm going to leave them until later on at the moment.
Please leave meaningful feedback if you can.
Currently I have tiling issues and would love to know of any specific textures that need re-touching.
A picture with the trouble area circled would be a great help,
but just naming the offending block is enough to get me started
1st Post! Must say, This could be up with the Faithful Pack! Its Really good looking! Will Try it!. Its ur first day, but trust me, this WILL get TONS OF ATTENTION!!! Good Job Sir!
It looks really good.
But I also looks like you just used a ps effect.
Good luck man!
I do start with the crystallization filter in Photoshop yes, but there is a fair amount of work that gets done in making the textures repeat seamlessly as well. I picked the crystallization filter to begin with since the small chunks of color make the textures appear similar to a texture with larger pixels but allows me to customize it a bit further as well.

Try making the textures tile.
It's a good start though.
I put in quite a concerted effort to make sure the edges of the textures would repeat as seamlessly as I could get them to...
which texture in specific are you referring to?
Looks like you added a jitter or stained glass filter over default... Not all that creative but it still looks nice. Needs more effort to repair tiling problems, though.

Can you please be specific on which textures you are noticing tiling problems on? I am trying to eliminate them all, but sometimes they can escape my eye.
The filter you are referring to is "crystallization". I like the look of it since the chunks of color closely match the aesthetic of a texture with larger pixels. I agree that there is a lot of different ways to do it, but in the end I like the way it looks using the filter to get the base texture and then working from there.

That is actually very impressive. I saw it and I couldn't figure out what changed. Silly me.
Very nice. But I do think you should sort out some of this tiling errors.
This is the main reason why a lot of textures havn't changed much since the first post.
I'm trying to sort out existing tiling problems before I expand the number of edited textures.
If you could point out the ones you have issues with, it would help a lot
So...You just took a 64x default pack, applied a couple of filters from the default Photoshop suite, and then fixed a couple of tiling issues? Meh. Isn't really that much work. Your textures look almost identical to default (not like Faithful which is similar, but handpainted), except that every texture is blurry. All I can say is that I feel sorry for whoever gets conned into downloading this and giving you any money. You honestly don't deserve it.

Fine. You people win.
Apparently Photoshop filters are a sin when making textures.
I will not be releasing anymore updates publicly.
I made this texture pack for my own use and thought people might like to try it for themselves. Apparently not.
• Added HD font by d3fin3d - Original Post
• Minor texture tiling repairs

Thanks, I sure hope so! ^.^
Changed:
• Added HD font.
• Some minor changes to existing textures.
Developer, gamer, and a mediocre pixel artist.
You should really check out Dokucraft: TSC.

What's XBR filter?
I havn't had any graphic design training or anything. I'm just sort of experimenting with photoshop myself :3
