I'm trying to create a texture pack for Java edition that makes nether brick & derivative blocks have multiple randomized textures. All's been well so far, except when I encountered the walls. Neither worked, so I'm kind of lost on the solution. Any help is appreciated.
Firstly, once you put more than just textures into your pack, it's no longer a Texture Pack, it becomes a Resource Pack.
You did the randomization wrong. And the order of multipart and variant, as you can only use one of them in a model.
It should look like this:
