Hello! So I have been making a custom texture pack for a server that I play on and I've tried using display name tags, lores and even normal tags to try to get the texture to apply to this multicolored name, can anyone help me figure out how to make it apply?
I have tried this and variations of this format:
type=item
items=minecraft:magma_cream
nbt.display.Name=ipattern:*CHERRY CLUSTER*
Hey!
The name of that item is '§c§lCHERRY §fCLUSTER §r§7(Right Click)
I think the reason your current code isn't working, is because there is a colour change between the CHERRY and CLUSTER, where a §f is supposed to be, so it doesn't work.
I'm not used to doing this for items that change from BOLD to regular text, although this code should still work. Let me know if I can be of any more help!
Have a nice day!
The rule for markup bold is to only apply to the current color, same with other markup elements.
So once you change the color, the markup will disabled.
'§c§lCHERRY §fCLUSTER §r§7(Right Click)' is not the picture, it is 'CHERRY CLUSTER (Right Click)', the right code would be '§c§lCHERRY §f§lCLUSTER §7(Right Click)' assuming that the spaces come before the markup and without §r in between or at the end.

Hello, u can easly use this:
custom_model_data:xy(numberonly)
For example:
/give @p minecraft:magma_cream{CustomModelData:1}
After that, u just need to change name for this..
**With this u can do anything!
I will share with u: my opinion
**Idk why I can't edit reply.. but.. There's way...

The Topic is custom items on servers, not custom items that you know they have CustomModelData.
