I wanted to make a resource pack that retextures torches called "glow_shroom" using LocName and gives them a custom 3D model but it does not display the textures properly. Any help?
did you put this in your models folder or your textures folder?
All the three files are located in .minecraft\resourcepacks\NAME\assets\minecraft\mcpatcher\cit\decoration
I found what the problem was. It turns out that if i want the model assigned from the .properties file to use a texture from the same folder, i have to name the directory not like "folder/name", but as "./name" so i had to change:
"particle": "decoration/glow_shrooms" }
And make it look like this:
"particle": "./glow_shrooms" }
And now everything works as expected (^_^)
