Till now, I cant find the direct link to Vattic's Faithful 32x32 resource pack. I know all those properties file except for the direct link. When I want to download his pack, all I need is to click the link and that's all and is I copy the link address it is http://goo.gl/kzNkX. What should I do
So, I uploaded my files fine, and everything works, except that after i download and install the pack, it doesn't work, no textures change. Does anyone know why? I'm using the latest snapshot, if that helps.
Hey guys I found the solution for more than half of you! After four tedious hours of trying to get my own server res. pack to work I've come to find that the problem is something we've all been dumbly overlooking. If you had no trouble getting the direct link from mediafire, dropbox, etc., but the res. pack either didn't download, or downloaded but didn't change anything once you got in game; I'VE FIGURED YOU OUT. Minecraft can't open your resource pack folder. You need to select only the content INSIDE of your resource pack folder and compress THAT into a zip file. Then drag it out of it's original folder and that is your zip file you use as a direct download link. You're welcome.

You, sir are my new favourite person. For those of you who don't quite understand the post you have to select your asset folder, pack mcmeta file and the pack png and send THOSE files to a new zip file. then use that file. Thanks again! You are the best!

So the name of the .zip file is my link on server.properties? Sorry I didn't get so much on what you meant. :/
Cause basically I wan't my OWN resource pack that I made and put into the server.
Our server hosts multiple worldmaps and the texture I want to use really is only applicable to a single world (adventure map). Is there a method to establish that the texture pack only appears (when the user loads it initially) if they go into that specific world?

These methods may work for regular resource pack, but the one I downloaded came with a mod in a zipped folder. The resource pack is just a folder named assets with all the textures in it. Please help.:D
By my properties file it says "resource-pack-sha1=" and when I put in the direct link it had an error and no message popped up at all when I join.
EDIT: It also has a tab which says "resource-pack=" but when I put in the DIRECT link (ending with .zip) it says this in the command prompt "You specified a resource pack without providing a sha1 hash. Pack will be updated on the client only if you change the name of the pack." BTW I still have the "resource-pack-sha1=" tab but it has nothing after the =.
EDIT 2: The link also changes (when I run the "Run.bat" file) from http://... to http\://...
EDIT 3: I put in the sha1 of the link at "resource-pack-sha1=" but now it has no error in the command prompt and does nothing in game. Please Help!!!!!!!
EDIT 4: I want people on my server to use a resource pack from someone else, but it's 128* (whatever that's supposed to mean) and is that the issue??? HELP!!!

If you are having issues setting a resource pack as an automatic download for your server, please create your own thread in the Server Support Forum. That is the appropriate place to ask about server features.

With a network sniffer I found that it redirects to http://www.faithful32x32.com/dl/faithful32pack.zip
try that.
A double resolution texture pack that stays faithful to the original Minecraft textures.
So, I uploaded my files fine, and everything works, except that after i download and install the pack, it doesn't work, no textures change. Does anyone know why? I'm using the latest snapshot, if that helps.

There is a way to have more than 1 resource pack on your server, but your server needs to be Spigot and you also need BungeeCord for it too.

Has anyone successfully pushed a resource pack with custom models to players? Is it possible?

Lol, I suggest mediafire this is easy. pfft
This my link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/4auhhthbggz8rmp/resources.zip?dl=1
I'm pretty sure it downloads but it doesn't affect the texures. It makes the diamond sword and axe change textures with less durability
EDIT: The resource pack just doesn't download right.
