I have a custom texture pack that changes textures to look like the older ones from before biomes were added. It used to be that replacing the color overlay files with transparency would allow this, but now that's resulting in every biome colored object being replaced with a solid black texture. How do I fix this?

How do I fix this?
Make your biome maps solid white instead. That results in no change from the actual texture tiles.
Disable Biome Colors?
