In the main folder of the Resource Pack I am editting, there is a Texture-->blocks folder..
There is also Assets-->Textures-->Blocks
What is the difference and what is the purpose of having both?
Also in the main folder I have Armor...
Then I have Assets-->Models-->Armor
I seem to have doubles of a lot of folders... What the hell is going on?! lol
Do I need both of these folders? What is the differences? Can anyone explain this to me? Because there literally is two different folders for almost everything in the Resource Pack
Scroll down to the folder structure and make sure the structure in the picture matches the structure of YOUR resource pack. The ones that dont, maybe delte or save for later use if you do think you need them

Forget the past, for it does not contain the power of Today.
What Lord_Sunday said. But in your case, the armor and the subfolders of textures are the 1.5 texture pack format. In 1.6 resource packs you'll have to use the assets subfolders.
I am kind of confused..
