Hey guys, welcome to the space I have set aside for my texture pack tours!
Here you will find all sorts of packs on display, the goal is to show you the best view of as many blocks in natural surroundings as possible. These tours will be strictly un-modded, no shaders, just the texture pack itself to alter the game.
Thanks for stopping by, and hopefully I have helped you in choosing a pack to suit your style and needs!
-- If you wish to request I take a look at yours or a specific texture pack, please leave a reply here and I will take a look at it --

Always good to see more resource pack reviewers, although I do not think the thread as you're doing it is acceptable for the Resource Pack discussion subforum. Stating you offer your service and posting videos is alright, but not so much bumping your thread with all of your videos (this might be OK in the "videos" subforum.... specifically). To be acceptable, your OP is fine but you'd put your videos in a spoiler up there and edit in videos as you post them. Leave the postings for the people commenting on reviews and/or requesting reviews.
Some feedback [specifically I watched the Equanimity review]:
the pack is not "32bit" (which would refer to color depth, basically a meaningless term here) but 32x. As in the main block/item textures are 32 by 32 pixels.
you said the wool colors differing on sheep vs. wool block bothered you.... although the sheep's wool color is actually hardcoded and there is no way to change the hue of this in vanilla, only the base gray texture that is recolored per sheep (you can change it with MCpatcher, but obviously that is a small change you'd only see with MCpatcher installed, in other words might not work with Optifine)
"that chest popping out is really great" that's the default model. Chests are considered entities (with an actual joint/hinge and an animation) and thus don't have any way of changing the model with resource packs.
I feel like you didn't notice things (because not mentioning them), like 3D doors/redstone/sugarcane, Z-fighting on the planks, the cauldron having an error with white on the legs, and iron bars not mapping very well (likely textured oddly for the default model).
the end portal isn't an animation, it's a parallax effect generated from a texture that gets recolored (main) and the end sky (distant background) for a dynamic visual that looks like you're staring into an abyss

Thanks for your reply, I took a look at all the things you mentioned. I wasn't quite sure where to put this thread so that it wasn't too spammy (I avoided the main Resource Packs forum for this reason). There are so many forums on the site I didn't even realize there was a Video section way beyond all the platform versions of the game. Your suggestions to add in spoilers is a good idea, and I will start doing that.
Alvoria also took a look at the videos and mentioned some similar things, like the 32 bit and the wool being hardcoded.
It can be difficult to get a good look at a texture pack while keeping the video to a decent duration, so there will be things I miss, but you were able to catch them without me directly mentioning them.
I have no clue what Z-fighting means, if you are able to explain that?
Instinct has told me that there are errors with the cauldron and iron bars in the past, but when I have mentioned it people have said they can't do anything about it or that the issue is on my end - I will be pointing this out more often!
The end portal animation thing: I'm still not sure how I would refer to its changes, just recoloring? "end portal has a different background, nicely recolored"?
Thanks again for taking a look, really appreciate the feedback. I want to give people a thorough view of texture packs, without it being an hour long video. Anything else you notice or would prefer to see in a video that I am missing or doing wrong, please let me know!

This is one of those instances where you'd be likely right in making 2 threads, the one in the subforum I linked exactly like the thread is now, and the one here like I described in my previous post. As I said nothing wrong with the post here, just not the replies as you're doing them.

Z-fighting is a phenomenon when 2 faces/textures occupy the same space and it has no idea which to display so it flickers between the 2 when you move (this also probably isn't good on performance). Specifically in the Equanimity review I believe I saw it happening on the wood floor. Specifically 8:32 (when you look at the cauldron and mushrooms in the spruce wood shack).
Instinct has told me that there are errors with the cauldron and iron bars in the past, but when I have mentioned it people have said they can't do anything about it or that the issue is on my end - I will be pointing this out more often!
Somewhat true. The game is largely at fault but it's not just on your end and not something that cannot be fixed/worked around.
The cauldron doesn't seem to support transparency anymore, but it also has 3D legs. So obvious fix here is stop trying to have transparent legs since it doesn't work.
The iron bars does look bad with default mapping, each version seems to map iron bars a little differently, I guess 1.8.3 was worse than I thought.
HOWEVER both of these are really non-issues now that we have the model system. Speaking as someone who has made a set of iron bars models, it takes a little work, but you can get iron bars to have a nice perfect 3D model even with tops that look nice. This is much easier than doing a custom set of redstone models, redstone has WAY more states you have to deal with. Also you could make a different cauldron model if you want different cauldron legs.
The end portal animation thing: I'm still not sure how I would refer to its changes, just recoloring? "end portal has a different background, nicely recolored"?
Sorry, just me nitpicking over the term.... just talk about it directly "the end portal looks nice" or "wow, that looks different than most end portals I have seen". It's another one of those things artists can't really control.... the game uses the image for a certain number of layers, then recolors each layer differently (like sheep) so I guess all artists have is how the final result turns out, if you've got something peaceful to stare at.
