Hello, I am creating a custom resource pack for my YouTube just to make things look different and everything but is it ok to use images from other resource packs to make your own one. I am not going to give it out or sell it just want it for myself. So am I aloud to use it and just make videos with it. Without a whole army of copyright issues coming down on me because I have mixed 3 peoples texture packs.

Need help about the rules of this
Depends on which three packs you've used. Most packs have a short legal section that says what you can and cannot do with the pack. The best thing you can do is read and understand the pack's terms of use.
In general most pack artists are OK with allowing people to make mixes and use them on Youtube as long as they don't put it up for download. but do not take that for granted. The default for all packs is that you can use it for exactly what it's intended to be used for and absolutely nothing else. In other words, when in doubt do NOT use someone's pack on your channel without their permission.
And with that said... just ask the people who's work you're using if you have questions. Most resource pack artists are pretty accessible people and would probably be happy for the attention. They might ask something like a link back to their thread in your video description, but you're not likely to find someone who will flat out refuse such a reasonable request when you ask them about it.
Thank you for being one of the good Youtubers who actually thinks about these things rather than just stealing whatever you want without caring for the people who put work into those packs.
I respect the community. If I use something I credit it. Just in case it comes back with a copyright claim/strike.
Just so you know, credit only means something if that's the condition for use. Otherwise it's basically saying "I acknowledge I'm using this person's work in violation of their copyright", which is pretty lame. If the author asks for credit and a link back in exchange for using their work, though, that's great.
Good on you for contacting the pack makers to be sure everything is in order. You're one of the good ones.

To add to what Alvoria said AND what you said, if you're going to credit, don't just say "Edited version of Faithful"
Fully disclose ALL changes that may be apparent AND link to the original pack. Like
"Edited pack based on Vattic's Faithful: <link to MCF page>
Stone, crafting table, villagers, and command block are from <another pack>: <another forum or PMC link>
Water and lava are from <yet another pack>: <yet another official info link>"
TBH, I don't think most artists would mind you using a mix pack on videos as long as it's CLEAR to users what is from their pack and what isn't, and that they are properly attributed for their pack with a link so your users can easily find it.
However, the artist most likely of being annoyed by a mix pack is likely not the artist that you BASE the pack on, but the one you take little pieces from (especially without the aforementioned credit and link back), mainly because it's much less of their work that is visible and it might not be obvious.
I suppose is in this case editing (like changing the saturation) or redoing textures yourself might actually be "better" in this case than making a frankenstein pack. Especially since there would be no mixing it up with another pack. It still may skew expectations, and linking back is a good practice, anyways

It’s the unpleasantness of the system that keeps me out.
I’d rather be in, in a good system. That’s where my discontent comes from:
being forced to choose to stay outside.
My advice: Just keep movin’ straight ahead.
Every now and then you find yourself in a different place."
