Hi! I've had minecraft since back when it was free and i've always been a huge fan of mods and texture/resource packs, but never really tried my own hand at anything until semi recently. A couple months ago I started working on some textures for minecraft and I thought i'd show some off here? Very wip still but I'd love some feedback.

Cobblestone and stone brick types:
Ores:
Sand, sandstone, and some obsidian:
and a tree!:
Very very nice! I like the retro dungeon-esque feel, and the color scheme is also very nice. My only concern is the obsidian does not tile particularly well (unless of course that was your goal!)
Heyo, I just wanted to show off my new Enchanting Table (and the book) Texture. It took me a really long time to find a way to do the obsidian base and the book texture atlas is such a pain to work with.
Next project is gonna be to replace the wool and the piston textures.
I am trying out some changes to the side of my furnache and pretty much all other block its my TP that use that kind of border (pistons, droppers, dispensers a ton). The one of the left it the border I have now and it does not make any sense in what it is supposed to show. So here are my new versions.
A long time ago, I was working on two resource packs using DawnBringer's 32 Color palette. I had only worked on items, and had only gotten to bread or something like that. That's like, 1% of the textures in the game, right? Both packs were visually similar, one was 16x while the other was 32x.
This is the last thing I shared on the pack, only 9 of the 32x textures:
I wonder if any of y'all remember these :3
Fast forward to March 25, where everyone in my programming class decided to play Minecraft or something like that. On my little flash drive were some of the 32x textures I had made. Instead of working on a gigantic Team Fortress 2 jump map that I have already been putting off enough, I felt inspired to start working on the pack again. A couple of days work went into about 12 textures (I'm almost certain that is slow considering the low resolution lmao).
So here, have some carbon, clay, and buckets.
Hopefully you can tell what these are ^^;
Once I get enough work done I may make a new thread or something. Oh, and I'm abandoning the 16x version. Too limited for my taste... eheh.
I agree 100% with PD101. The worst are the buckets and stone. I edited the shading of your bucket and stone (it was quick, so it's not perfect), but haven't changed the shape.
Top is mine, bottom is yours. Dithering is fine, but don't use it excessively. Also keep in mind the material, a bucket shouldn't use a lot of dithering. Your colours are great, and the dithering works for some of the other textures.
Does anybody have a fix for the horrible mapping on the anvil? I would love to improve the sides.
The only fix I could think of is to edit the 3D Model for anvil, and make a texture specifically for the side of the anvil, then set the model to map the side of the anvil as that texture.

Nice; I like the illumination.
@darealmeesta
Looking good!

I think they're a little over-dithered. Other than that they look neat.
Bone app the teeth.

Did Mycelium. How does it look?
Wood tools for Unnatural State
Anvils

Did some more blocks today and a block breaking animation. Come to think of it, this is my first time actually animating the breaking.
(Bookshelves with a variant, cacti, brewing stand, and cauldron)
In-game models:
Totem of Undying

The guy in my pfp isn't me he's just really hot.
Pokemon parrot textures
I love the tail and head textures, very clever uses.

Yes, they do. Don't all entities support transparency?
