Okay, I've overhauled my Jungle logs. But I decided to keep the "bamboo" look for the log tops, in hopes to tie it all together. What do you guys think? Better?
Looks much better! Like what pinky said, I think it would look really nice to add a vine ctm to the texture
They look incredibly flat, try not only shading around the edges, gradients don't look very nice. Don't be afraid to let the dark and light colours meet. Speaking of colours, your colours are an issue as well, they look depressing! Try some warmer colours.
Looks great, though I loved your idea of adding those vines to the other version of the logs. What if you wrapped some vines around one of the new textures? As of right now I think the moss on the bark of the log doesn't capture enough of my attention compared to the detail of the other log variants. (Sorry if that was worded weirdly its 3 am here lol)
Anyways, great work as always and the new logs look great.
I had seriously considered vines, and even began to make them. I too thought it would be a neat idea. But I opted out of them for 2 reasons:
1. Vine blocks grow naturally on jungle log blocks. So putting them on the actual log texture, even as just CTM, would be redundant.
2. The versatility of blocks is important to me. I like how it looks and fits with my other jungle wood elements. As it is now, I'd use it to build with. A vine-covered log would look silly as a block used buildings.
Hey guys, I've created a sandstone ctm and I want you guys to tell me what you think about it! I think it's come out quite nicely
The pillar on the right is smooth sandstone, the one on the left is carved.
This is what it looks like on a build
EDIT: Also did ctm for cobblestone and new oak leaves
It does look nice but a lot of it is uncannily similar to chivalry... I'd personally try to differentiate it a bit more, at the moment it really could just be an expansion to it or an updated version due to it being discontinued.

Is it my colour choice that makes it look like Chivalry? Or the actual textures. I do want my texturepack to be a medieval texturepack, but not be recognised as a look-a-like of another texturepack. Thanks for you feedback

Colours, style of shading and shape of the textures are all combining to make them look pretty similar...
Try changing the shapes up a bit, that was initially the first thing I noticed about them. The oak leaves, the logs, the planks, they were all textures I remember from chivalry and I honestly thought they WERE from chivalry at first glance.

Awesome! I will change it and make it more of my style Thanks alot for the feedback, It has really helped me!
@AmazingMCza: I would basically echo what the others said. The stone bricks looked a little better before, and the new wood could use a bit more contrast.
So, partly inspired by insomniac_lemon's "vivid torrential changes", I decided bedrock needed a reason to be unbreakable, and came up with this force field idea. Any opinions?
(ignore the occasional jitter, that is just a slight error with the gif... still a little new to capturing these)

There's something about that sandstone that doesn't quite work for me. Conceptually, they're very nice. But maybe they're a bit too monochromatic? As they are now, they seem more like birch than sandstone to me. I might have tried some subtle hue shift to an unsaturated blue in the shading.
I dig your new oak leaves. I hate making leaves... so I'm trying to get mine outta the way fast:

I think those leaves would be better if the leaf ends grew lighter instead of darker. Are they meant to be jungle leaves? They'd make beautiful spruce needles (possibly my all-time least fav. block texture to do).
I like the current colour because it creates a really nice contrast with the stone bricks and cobblestone. I will probably just go back to the original colours, but for now I'm just going to try and experiment with the colours. And I will also tweak the wood to get more of a shadow.
-New shading
@halucid
I hate texturing leaves. It takes forever to get a result that is pleasing and often looks like a mess ingame. I will definitely try to tweak the colours a bit for the sandstone.

Indeed, it does bear a striking resemblance to Chivalry. I think it's the colours used and especially the semi-realistic and rustic style going on.

I don't like the way it's rounded at the corners. Improvement from the last one though

Here's a quick edit I made:
No problem, I have nothing else to do with my time. You can use it if you want to.

Recoloured and touched up stone bricks. I'm probably going to reshade it soon.
Old - New -
And the oak planks
Old - New -
I preferred the old stone brick, shading and colors. Wood could use a tad bit more contrast, especially shadows.
I would say exactly the same thing

A bit late, but hi, Taiine! Welcome back!
I believe they are supposed to be palm fronds
