It looks like he/she is already using Optifine (circular fog distance).
I was only using MCPatcher, circular fog is vanilla. It seems that fog is only in place so that it transitions better from rendered to un-rendered terrain smoothly without squares showing at the edges. I'm looking for ways to use it visually as well.
Definitely right. It looks actually grainy, like gravel should be. It looks really nice The oak sapling's leaves are kind of weird colorwise, maybe it's the color brightness?

Huh? It was never circular for me. I always thought that circular fog was Optifine's "fancy fog" setting.
I like the right more, looks more well, like gravel. The oak saplings look like jungle saplings. Maybe it would be better to use those as jungle rather than oak.
What makes them jungle'ish? The colors? Both the leaves and the logs are based on the current oak textures for them: the sapling wood is based on the current oak log texture in Odin and the sapling leaves are edited downscaled oak leaves with different colors.
I think it's the stem. Maybe not the colours, but the overall look of the sapling reminds of a jungle sapling. I quite like the texture and I don't mind it being used as an oak sapling, I was just pointing out that for me it looks like a jungle sapling
I recently moved all my cobblestone random CTM to vanilla alternate textures. The issue I'm having is that I have no idea how to set a texture to an element in a model with multiple elements.
I'm just doing it with notepad, because it seems like this way will be easier in the long run for me.

Might this be a return of Clouds Descend?
Whether it is or not they look pretty nice! Not sure what the one on the left is supposed to be. My guess is a rather interesting cobblestone design.
Looks great!

Looks amazing! It tiles really nicely also
The right one; it looks like gravel. The left one actually looks like stone.
And saplings look too vanilla for me.

Everything looks nice, except for the sands. They all look like mirrors or plastic to me.
Image Scaling algorithm and manual touch up. 16x on the left, 64x on the right. Very interesting for putting out a pack at various resolutions.

How did you do this, i'm very interested!
Stone looks a bit fuzzy, but the sand looks nice
Some planks.
Redstone repeaters and comparators!
Well, I need model help.
