Here's a download link for my shaders. http://pack.maloweb....packshaders.zip It's a zip file that works just like a regular resource pack. In the resource pack menu in minecraft add it to the top, put brightness to moody and press "super secret setting" twice (to select the fxaa shader). If you try it, I would love to see screenshots. Feel free to incorporate the shaders in your texturepack.
I found a tutorial for the fxaa shader, so I don't go around stealing your beauty, but there's so much you can do with just the vanilla shader! Thanks for sharing this with us!

A tutorial, you say? Mind sharing a link? I've been wanting to dip into shaders, but I haven't found any good resources or tutorials about the language.

I am loving your shaders. Normally I don't bother with effects like that, but I am stunned by those shaders, and had to see what they looked like with Definitance.
If after a month my packs monthly downloads increases, then drops next month, is that normal? I keep thinking that somethings wrong with it, or is it average downloads per month?
-edit (btw I'm talking about downloads through the Curse widget/client/site.)
All texture packs are down in terms of downloads, it's December, people don't have the time to play minecraft or mess with texture packs atm, due to finals etc etc.
Since my snow is ash (mixed with actual snow) i made the snow biome trees smoulder. The orange bits are on renderpass 3, a separate layer above the leaf texture. As a result, they glow in the dark. Also, they animate and sort of sparkle a bit... like actual smouldering leaves.
The trunks are charred as well. The textures are biome specific, in the warm/non-snow taiga there are just regular spruce trees.

Amazing! The grass seems a bit too green, -and, well, alive- for a place that's meant to be smouldering, though.

Don't worry, i'm going to be redoing all the grass before the 1.7 update. Biome specific grasses, actually. I figured out a really fast and easy way to make realistic grass... basically, i just make a custom set of brushes to work with and use repeat ctm. So adding in a new grass type is pretty quick. I'll make something with patches of ash/frost for the cold biomes.
Don't look the greatest with my pack but I think I might try my hand at creating some custom ones anyway. It looks fantastic with your pack, grar and I'd love to get something that fits equally as well with my pack!
Here are a couple of pics of my pack, ignore the WIP night sky, it's barely started and looks almost nothing like it will look.
I like the colors, but is there a way to make it less blurry? The blurriness is very off-putting to me.
The bluriness is caused by fxaa. I'm trying to edit it now to see if I can get rid of it a little because I'm not the biggest fan either. If I figure it out then I'll post back unless someone else does first!

It looks really nice and I want to try it out but it's crashing my game whenever I try to load into a world with it activated... Hrm. :/

Could use some more embedding, but it looks good so far
Looks a lot better!
Also, do I have to make my avatar christmas themed?
