Hello, this is my first texture pack and I really think it's amazing. Please check it out! It's ok if you don''t like it.Thank you for reading this! Video:
Also I will be a bit blunt... this has been done before. It's known as bucket filled, where asll the blocks are flat colored or outlined, had noise added or have minimal work done to them. We see packs like these several times a day to the point such has been listed in stickies. Let me elaborate..
Myth:Making a simple bucket-fill pack is OK for your first texture pack.
This is only partially false. Making a simple pack is a good way to familiarize yourself with how minecraft textures work and were they are place. However, unless it is amazing or you want feedback on how to make it better, don't bother posting it.
This will not only annoy everyone, you will also receive a large amount of borderline flame posts from the community. Simple bucket-fill packs have been done to death. When you make a pack it is best to try to do something that hasn't been done before. Either an idea that had been attempted but not well, or something completely revolutionary.
Myth:Making a simple pack is easy.
This is one of the most common misconceptions I run across. It also can't be more wrong. Making a good simple pack that will not get you laughed out of the community is probably one of the most difficult things to do. Examples like Doll House and Puffy lines are a paragon of what a simple pack SHOULD be. However, if you find yourself wanting to name your thread Simplepack. RUN AWAY!
Myth: Bucket fill texture packs reduce lag.
The only way bucket fill texture packs would reduce lag would be if the pack was ACTUALLY 1x1 Just bucket-filling the textures won't do a thing if the pack is the default res. Would CryEngine2 be able to run on an old netbook if the textures were all one color? You would probably think that's preposterous. Well, it doesn't. And guess what? Minecraft works the same way! Minecraft still has to load all the pixels the texture uses, it don’t matter if those pixels are one solid color, or the most detailed thing in the world. They still hold the same amount of pixels, and thus will produce the same amount of lag.
Bucket Fill Packs Other names include: simple pack, smooth pack, cartoony pack, flat pack, OCD pack, etc. If you were going to make a resource pack that is just 1-2 colors smudged across the entire texture, stop right now. These take no effort to make and are often accompanied by an adf.ly link, which is why these are generally disliked by the MCF community. These kind of packs are usually done in MS Paint with the bucket fill tool, which is where the name "bucket fill pack" comes from. Clarification:A bucket fill pack is not "smooth" or "simple" in any way. For a true representation of a simple/smooth pack, feel free to check out Steelfeathers's Dandelion or Plenty_of_fish's Nemo.
I also really kid you not.. you could have gone to any of the -MANY- 'simple pack' topics and grabbed their work and reposed it and we'd never known. Really, taking out all shading, flat coloring blocks, adding outlines and single pixels to them for detail has all been done, 12,000+ been done, and those are just the ones with 'simple' in the title for quick search, you could triple that with packs named something else, like yours.
Again I didn't come here to bash or hate on what you did. But to make you see that this is over done and offer some helpful links to help you improve. I ask you to not be the many who come here and post, then take any feedback as being 'flamed' or 'hate', but instead being one of the few that have taken what is said to heart and then later come back with a pack that is truly amazing and worthy of downloads.
More amazing examples can be found in the old 'Simple pack Showdown' topic, it gives you a real idea of what simple packs are truly to be.

This pack isn't spam. Just because you don't like it or think it's plain doesn't mean you or anyone else has to go around classifying our packs. I know, it's for the best, but really? Get a life this pack is ok and i actually put effort into this. I did it all a pixel at a time in paint.net and didn't do bucket fills. Just please don't do that because to me, those comments are spam because of how long they are and the reason for posting it.

Well then, don't bother posting on these forums. Here we take pride in our work and welcome the comments and feedback of others.
Packs like these are unwanted. It don't matter if you drew in each pixel, or bucket filled it, in the end the resault is the same. These kind of packs are SPAM on these forums, even Planet Minecraft has started removing these kind of packs as they are far to abundant. There use to be close to 20k, 20,000 packs JUST LIKE THIS on that site, and it's down to 7k now.
Don't want to improve? Don't want to be amung those that take feedback to heart and return with work that is outstanding? Want to be rude and be like the many that want to turn criticism and feedback into 'hate' 'spam' and all that nonsense? Well you're not going to get any respect around here then.
We've had many come here posting these same bad packs, but instead of doing what you are, they took the feedback and returned with stunning works. Like say... this person... whos been praised for his come around and you know, learned, took what was said to heart, and vastly improved?
But you don't want to do that huh? Oh well, to bad for you.
I hope to see more of you here, and I hope you are not scared off by harsh criticism. I suggest you join the Texture Artists Union, you can post your textures there to help you improve.

I'm sorry i over reacted... I am open to advise to get better and i will greatly improve my pack ok? I agree with most of what you said and I apologise.
Not to be mean, but this is a somewhat bad pack. It looks good, but it doesn't have of professinal packs have.
One being shading.
I would consider looking at threads for how to make textures good, or Taiine said, use those threads.
Again, not trying to be mean, but it does not have what ANY texture pack needs.
ok I am just starting and I never really took a tutorial on how to make a really good texture pack. I;m just experimenting. Also, i wouldve kept the pack only to myself but i put it here for a friend to use, and then i guess i didnt care, but i will improve :Dhey guys i know the pack sucks and has nothing really good or unique so you dont have to repeat that and I am going to improve so don't worry guys.

It was an accident but i wil delete the other one if i can... i re named it too. You like it btw?

Looks like someone doesn't take criticism well...
pretty much :/ I did go a bit overboard...
