Wow, I seem to be getting more mentions for my pack lately!
Cleaner "bits" shader:
Wobble shader with no color changing:
Invert shader that only inverts colors (also, sort of a "future intense sun" type feel):
Also makes "Pencil" more usable (because in default with the pencil shader, things are either extremely dark or extremely bright), and color convolve more intense.
Also, Willpack has actual custom shaders in it (not edits like mine) that I suppose kind of imitate lighting shaders a bit.

It’s the unpleasantness of the system that keeps me out.
I’d rather be in, in a good system. That’s where my discontent comes from:
being forced to choose to stay outside.
My advice: Just keep movin’ straight ahead.
Every now and then you find yourself in a different place."

Normally the "bits" shader uses 4-bit color, making it nearly impossible to see. Lemon here made it so that it is still pixelated, but has enough colors so that caves don't become a pitch-black mess.
In fact, nearly all of the shader changes I made where just to make the shaders actually usable rather than a "pure" novelty that you couldn't really see through to actually survive/build/explore etc.

If you're looking for shaders as in blocks casting dynamic shadows, something similar can be done with custom lightmaps where anything that's not directly exposed to sunlight or artificial light is much darker than the blocks that are. However, that's more of a manipulation of the game's default lighting engine than anything else.

So, how would I change the wobble shader to not have the wobble, but still the color change?
I haven't tested it, but I'm like 90% sure that should work. It's the first thing I would try. If that fails, I'd remove the float xOffset and float yOffset pieces (from wobble.fsh).

However, it IS possible to customize the default shaders (super secret settings) using resource packs.
I only know of one texture pack that actually does this, which is Vivid Torrential Changes.

Try putting ./assets/minecraft/shaders/program/wobble.json
in your pack, and then changing
