Can someone direct me to some realistic texture packs for mac? I've found only 1 and I'm happy with it except the the diamonds are ducks. Sadly i haven't been able to find anymore. Where should i look?

so how do i go about this then?. I'd have to convert a .exe to a .jar
Texture packs should never ever ever require an executable file. If you downloaded one, it's probably a virus. Get rid of it ASAP.
Installing texture packs for Mac is the same as it is for PC. Open Minecraft, go to Options->Resource Packs->Open Resource Packs Folder, and drag the pack's zip file into the directory that opens. The pack should show up immediately on the list in-game.
(And if you don't like the ducks, just go into the pack and delete /assets/minecraft/textures/items/diamond.png)

I was unaware that i could delete the duck from the pack. All is well now. I really appreciate the help. Thanks fellas.

Excuse me? Texture packs aren't programs. They have .pngs, .mcmetas, and sometimes .properties.
