Yeah, I'm with Steelfeathers on the frames, the dirtiness of the glass itself blends better with the light blue. Also, I really like your logs, they have subtle differences, but maintain the same overall feel.
Saplings, ore blocks, and frog dispensers, oh my!
Wow. I LOVE. this. My god. FOR NOW ON I'M PARTICIPATING IN CHALLENGES. ENOUGH SAID.
Added Ladders, Power Rails, Detector Rails, Cobble, Mossy cobble, Pistons, Sand, Glass (subject to change), Doors and Trapdoors, Tripwire and associated hook AND smoothed out the stone slabs.
It looks all nice and CTMed well but if you actually played it, you would notice that all the planks are perfect but the birch and jungle log are somehow switched. I honestly have no idea how it happened.
EDIT: Fixed waaay faster than I thought.
EDIT: Done part of the GUI. Looks better in game, I promise!
Alright, I think I'm going to throw in the towel and work on a pack I can do at my leisure. I just can't keep up with all you guys (and other gals) especially since this is my First Texture pack ever. A 2 year old does not wait for mommy to finish making a texture when I'm on a deadline haha!
Great practice and I've learned a lot just by participating in the thread...looking forward to another challenge that perhaps has a longer deadline, hehe.

Until then, you have not seen the last of me!
Aw. Well, I understand. Good luck to you in all your future texturing ventures.
Thank you Steel, I just think a simple pack is not the best for me to start with...but I had a lot of fun participating! As I said, you haven't seen the last of me.
In fact, it was Dragon Dance that inspired me to start my own pack!

Also, next time we have a challenge with a palette, hows about we actually make a GOOD palette?
Agreed. This is incredibily difficult, but makes for VERY good practice.
Amen, fun fact; this is my first time publicly texturing, I solely made skins before this.
WHHHHAA?
I know, right? I genuinely startled myself when I managed to get all 16 wool colors with that palette.

Whew.
I'm calling it a night.
See this? ^
The rest of you have no excuse for complaining about your palettes. None.
Pine leaves
Sandstone
Whole bunch of random sturffs - purple scale things are bedrock and the lumpy stuff to the left is clay

I rarely use those colors, so I didn't include them :l
You'll need to post your own palette first.
Made a fair amount of progress today. My favourite of today's new textures would be the Obsidian.
No yellow >.>
or red for that matter.... or dark shades in general... TOO HARD FOR ME!
Look forward to your textures though, make sure they're purdy.

I approve.
