I'm looking forward to this, as it looks like it should be good. It would be nice if there was also a lite version, provided it doesn't take too much extra effort.
a lite version? im assuming you mean lighter color cause this is 16bit it doesnt need a lite version (i never hear LITE unless it is referring to a smaller, less detailed pack)

My to-do list is currently: -snip-
- Make a lite version? Did people actually use it?
And, a couple of posts later:

The 'lite' thing was something I did with TTP versions 1 through 2.5. Basically, it's all the same textures, except more colorful and with less contrast. I did it to appease people who complained about the textures being too dark, gritty, etc..
You know, this was all found on Page 26: A single page before the one you posted on. You would sometimes expect that people would search a little through the topic, before commenting/asking questions.
Anyway, this should answer your question. TL;DR: Lite = Lighter Textures.

They're supposed to be a robot/lifeform the ghasts build to perform maintenance and such on the Nether.
Ahhhh, that helps explain the look a bit more!
I do think the face needs something to it though. Without an explanation it's very hard to visualise what it's supposed to be. :tongue.gif:
No, the face definitely doesn't need something else. I made it that way very deliberately. Humans subconsciously bond with anything with a face. Don't believe me?
Only thing i have to say about the pigman is the two colors seem to be too sharply changing. The Ghasts look fine but the pigman looks too sharp of a change.

-cool dude-
That's exactly what I /don't/ want. I want the monster to be something inhuman and amoral.
You are right, that thing seems to be a pretty cool guy.
And I like what youre doing with the nether.
Edit: by the way, im sorry to bring you a 'cannot unsee' moment, but i thought i should tell you since you want it to be faceless
Your getting on my nerves. Stop being an ass and release this fine art
Get over yourself. This pack will be released when it's finished, and not a day sooner. Deal with it.

Friendly wolves get a blue collar, lighter eyebrow-marks, softer fur, and their tongues hang out. Angry wolves get orange eyes, darker eyebrow-marks, standing-up fur, and bear their teeth.
I think the "noses" looks sort of oversized. The way the dark row of pixels at the top of the nose looks, makes the wolfies look fat-ish.
Also, any chance of you getting us an angry-wolf picture?
On another note, do you think you'll make alternate textures for the Nether, where we'll get the original hellish blocks, instead of the robotic(?) look? I don't think I'd like something which looked "modern", in Minecraft. I prefer the look which makes it look like it's from the 1600ths.

mrisump, the nose has to either be like this, off-center, or way too thin (their noses are bigger than their eyes, you know). This way looked best. As for the Nether, I want it to look unlike the regular world (and my adoration of Giger might have had something to do with it). I'll keep your request in mind in case I start making alternate versions, though.
I'm glad you like the style, Lilyo. I based them off of this picture (having a big, poofy mane like the Minecraft model helped tilt my decision).

Are they 16 or 32 bit? As mobs can be 32 bit in a 16 bit pack you know? ._.

Ahhh the wonderful world of minecraft forums :3
Seriously though, I hate it when that happens... So frustrating!
As for the pigzombie, I'm having trouble discerning what it is actually supposed to be like. It looks a bit... random at the moment...

Good catch, Mikejones. Better fix that.
Haha. I seriously cannot wait, this looks so great.
I wish I was in this :C
