I want to make the default texture pack recolored with autumn colors, including orange leaves, grass and plants, an orange-ish sky, and hopefully even orange light using MCPatcher. How exactly would I accomplish this, and are there any already out there? I don't want to make any textures, just recolor a few things. Thanks!
I just hope you aren't planning on releasing it...
I believe I noticed one awhile ago... In Autumn... But I think I could find it. You could also probably find one by searching Autumn in the search bar... To do it yourself, I don't know what image editing program you have, and I'm not sure which ones have this feature, but corel paintshop pro (and the outdated Jasc paintshop pro) have a tool called "change colour to target". If you can find it or another program's equivalent, just choose an orange that you like and fits, then go over the blocks and images with it and experiment with the opacity to get different shades. You could use another lightmap from another pack as a reference and make a more orange one for your pack, and the sky would require a properties file for skycolour and an image similar to the grasscolour and foliagecolour, only with the colour you want the sky to be.

Select the block you want and just change its hue with whatever program you are using.
and then for leaves and grass/biome coloring just change the biome colors on the sheets
