This is the texture that I'm using in a custom map(well the art anyways)and I need the white are that says YOU ARE MINE to be transparent. I don't know how to do that
could someone please tell me how or do it for me. (cant get the pic to load don't know why I guess you'll have to tell me)
It sometimes baffles me how people like this can actually open a web browser and type.
It's human nature. We automatically assume that if we can see something, so can everyone else. This is how things generally work in real life... unless we're hallucinating of course.
He can probably see that pic because he has it and his browser will call it correctly, and therefore assumes that everyone else can too.
Evolution (if you believe in such nonsense) has really screwed us over to proper Internet use.

Unless I'm missing something, you would just need to erase the white. This can be done with programs such as GIMP, Paint.net, (which are free) and Photoshop, if you have the cash.
If that was serious, I'm going to shoot myself in the face.
Why? Do you believe yourself to be nothing more than the product of your genetics, unable to learn and rise beyond your base instincts and simplest perceptions through learning and logical deduction? This is the quality separates humans from animals after all.
If so... how do you use the bathroom?
@SpiffyCreeper: You can't make anything transparent if you're using MS Paint which, incidentally, you should never do. GIMP and Paint.net are both free and support the transparency you crave.

Evolution has nothing to do with anything here, so why you brought it up is in itself mind boggling.
The real reason is simple ignorance to how technology works. The world is filled with far too many self proclamed tech wizards, when they really only know how to press buttons and hope things work out in the end. However, with some minor effort, how computers and the internet generally work could be understood by anyone, but alas, no one puts weight on basic computer usage skills.
