The 1.10 version sees some major but subtle changes. After receiving a great many requests for some new iron and diamond armour, I have updated them. I really try to leave the textures from the original artists untouched but the requests have been very convincing. I tried many variants and finally decided keep as true to the base concepts was best. I hope you like them.
The horses are now in the stables and the armour polished for battle! It took me three attempts to finally get the armour as true to the spirit of LTN as I wished. I am pleased with these. Charge!!!!!
Lord Trilobite created this excellent work of art. It has been languishing since 1.6. I finally found a way to contact Lord Trilobite and got permission to bring it up to date. What a pleasure to work with these textures.
Norsecraft is simply excellent and I hope you enjoy playing with this resource pack as much as I did making the new textures.

Wow! Color me impressed! I never thought I'd see a continuation of this pack, which I always felt was a shame since it was one of the great packs from the early days of Minecraft. I'm really happy that you managed to get the right to continue this one, kyctarnyq!

Thank you Alvoria. I fully expected to be rejected when I finally found a way to contact Olof. Secondly, I was terrified getting the textures wrong and making a hash of it. It is always my bigest fear. As always you do your best but there are a few textures that you want to perfect for longer.
One thing: I prefer the grass side to be greener so hills look green instead of brown. Same for the snowy grass side: I'd like white mountains, and not brown-with-a-bit-of-white-on-top-of-it.
Thank you. The grass side and snow side (attached for reference) are as Lord Trilobite intended. I am sorry you do not like them but I will not be changing them. I will keep them true to the original Norsecraft.

(koo-star-neek) The real numbers are countable and I CAN prove it. Cantor was wrong!
Awesome, I'm definitely looking forward to seeing this pack brought up to date.
Like Alvoria mentioned, it was (is!) one of the great packs from early Minecraft and I always was a bit sad when I remembered NorseCraft existed and then promptly remembered that it wasn't really being updated.
Maybe I'll give this resource pack a spin and not just for old time's sake!

Thank you. If one of my new textures is not as good as it should be, please let me know so I can fix it. I want this to best it can be.

Hi, I know I just meet you but... Can I marry you? Thank you so much for reviving this amazing Texture Pack!
You are very kind, but my beloved wife would be upset if I said yes Thank you very much. I love this pack too and was over the moon when Lord Trilobite said yes to me continuing it. I have another great old pack I have just got permission to continue. Keep an eye out. I hope to launch it soon.

Sorry to say no, but the menus were a great deal of work by Lord Trilobite and myself. Spend some time and I am certain you can make your own that you like even better.

Once Optifine is ready I am about to jump into 1.9. There any chance for news on this awesome pack yet?
I should have posted. The OP is updated with 1.9. It has been there for a few days now. The shield is authentic but I think I want to make a fancier one. I'll post when I get it done.

I'd like to see some Asgardian style diamond armor if only to see what it looks like. If people still want to use the magic amulet Berserker Armour, you could always have it as an alternative texture.

I really like this resource pack! Especially the inventory screen, it's so unique to look at.
I was surprised to see that this thread only has one page so far, it deserves more attention.

Been using this pack for a week now and i must say this is my favorite. No other resource packs compare to this one.
Thank you. I have loved it too for a long time. I am glad to keep it going. Tell your friends
Guaranteed! Coming very soon. As you might guess, I already have started,
Hey, I really like the GUI. My pack is not done yet, but is it ok for you if I use the GUI?
No, you may not use the gui. Please, develop your own

Hi Guys,
I need your help. Please review the poll at the top and vote. I am torn so the best way forward is to have the community decide.
Thank you so much
