I like this pack and I use it all the time. I especially like the way the blocks are rendered. It's easy to see what they are, even when they're in darkness, underwater, or obscured by a program that makes my screen orange at night. Great for visibility.
The new held items, not so much. Many of the vanilla ones are actually more recognizable or "visible" than this texture pack. Meats such as pork chops are unrecognizable, especially when obscured by the corner numbers. Rabbit meat is almost definitely a hat. I frequently mistake arrows for sticks. It's also difficult to tell when my bucket is full of something or empty.
Would you mind doing the held items at a slightly higher resolution and prioritizing recognizability a little more over this rectangular style? Or, alternatively, releasing a version of the pack without the held items so I can stop trying to wear a raw rabbit?

I agree that some of the items have go too abstract and unrecognizable. The latest release fixes some of that, for instance buckets and arrows.
There's more work to do, but that will have to wait until the release cycle is complete for my main pack, Lithos:Core.
I just started using this pack, and it's gorgeous. The abstract mosaic look really works. I obsessively experiment with resource packs, and this one will be sticking around.
I will agree with Alfalfascout that some held items are difficult to distinguish. It's hard to tell the axe from the pickaxe when I'm holding them, and cooked steak is a brown square that I had to use the tooltip to figure out.
I'm big into villages, and when I saw your image above of the villagers, I was skeptical. But in-game they are adorable. I would only wish (there's always a wish) for more variations for each career. The same textures with different skintones would be enough. I use Lithos mobs almost exclusively, and once you get used to so many distinct faces in a village, it's almost impossible to go back.
(I know you're working on Lithos. Just sticking this in here. )

This is my favorite pack it's aesthetically pleasing.
Thanks!
Yeah, I know they are broken, but haven't figured out what's wrong.
