I guess since they aren't really "in game" items I'll probably just leave the default textures for now...unless anyone has any cool ideas. Default is just different color for the different types but I wanted something that shows they are conditional, repeating, etc. I'm open to suggestions
I have 26 mods and the newest forge. Whenever I load misa's pack and the 1.8 patch it used to run fine. Now it crashes only on the texture pack. On default I run 60+ FPS. I know it's not my PC for a fact cause i run MGSV over 60 FPS at max settings. Anyone know what could be happening? Any help I greatly appreciate it.
I used to have a similar problem with hi-res texture packs, and it had something to do with the amount of RAM allocated for the game.
Open the Minecraft launcher, then click Edit Profile. In the Profile Editor, check the JVM arguments at the bottom. The text inside the box may read something like "-Xmx1G". The "1G" part is how much RAM is allocated for the game. If I remember correctly, 1 gigabyte is the default. You may want to increase it to, say, 2 gigabytes (so the text would then read as "-Xmx2G") or more, depending on how much RAM your PC has and on the resource packs and/or shaders you're going to use.
Awesome work man. So nice to have the Misa pack back. Maybe you should try to officially take over the Misa pack seeing that she has abandoned it.
One texture I have never liked much is Birch Planks one, so I have just made my own one using the source texture.

Nice work on the birch. I had decided not to overwrite any of Misa's work in my patch, but have made lots of changes for my own use. I may release them as an addon patch for others to play with or pick and choose from.

Any chance you could update the "high_res" connected texture folder? Currently the textures do not tile correctly for me and seem to be randomly placed.
also any chance to restore the connected textures for glass too? with the center being translucent?
Am I maybe doing something wrong? I have not touched my install since 1.6 other that updating the game and optifine.
EDIT: As for the "high_res" textures. I had the 'alternate blocks' option on. However I needed to disable optifne to change that option. That is why I was unable to see it. I still can't get connected glass working, at least not with translucent textures.
Hey Slidedrum, unfortunately they changed the way ground textures are placed... thus the weird texturing. I thought they undid that but haven't really messed with connected textures since Misa specifically said to avoid those in her original post. Also, mcpatcher isn't being updated and this texture pack was never meant to be used with optifine. I'm primarily just trying to keep this great pack working at it's basic level. We'll see how things pan out after the official 1.9 release and I "might" ask Misa for permission to include mcpatcher (hires) files if mcpatcher is updated or I can get it working with optifine.
I am using Minecraft 1.8.8, Forge 1628 with Optifine 1.8.8_HD_U_G7.
I have taken the stock Misa pack and added in the "lescard60" 1.8 patch. Everything is working 100% except for the CTM's So I have been fiddling around with that and have managed to sort out the Glass Block ctm so that it works from all angles directions etc.
Sadly, Glass panes only work properly if you are facing North or West. As soon as you face East or South, Optifine uses the opposite textures ie it swaps the left with the right and visa versa and the top with the bottom. I have no idea how to fix this..if it can be fixed. Might just be a bug in Optifine. I need to do more testing to be sure either way.
Does anyone know of a good online place to read up on CTM and how it all works etc? Preferably a CTM guide that is for Optifine specific things.
on a different note, do you have any "Misa style" Diorite, Andesite and Granite textures that are more in line with the vanilla colours? It is taking some getting used too

Use my latest patch or Misa's stealth patch. Hers is connected texture but she allowed me to use one of each as a base texture in the patch (had to make them tile properly) That should be what you're looking for.

HI Les am fan of your work, though i almost never use your patch and use THBird's patch since its the one i got used to, but a problem i have with both patches are that if i dont use mc patcher, the water looks DIsgustingly white, while if i patch it with Mc patcher the water looks blue, but when i mine stone or netherack, instead of its normal animation, the stone cracking little by little, the blcok just darkens in color without animation.

I still haven't done the skeleton or zombie horse textures so if anyone wants to do those....feel free. Anyone?....anyone?.....Bueller?..... (crickets). Well I'll get to them eventually. Hey Uniquitous.... weird, I had made an inverted Daylight Sensor but looks like I deleted it somewhere in the past. I'll fix that. Also, I never noticed the End Crystal..it was in Misa's pack at some point but now it just looks strange...so I'll take a look at that too. Command Blocks ..... not in game so they are low on the fixit list..... I'll post again once I update

captainfunnyhead, simply use Misa's Stealth Pack and Les' Patch for 1.9 , then you get right coloured water and rain in 15w51b and 1.8.9:
Look at what happens 2 me when i dotn use mcpatcher on 1.8.9, am playing survival so i dont like 2 use snapshots.
