Well, this pack was originally to help writers with visualization in my fanfiction Rift but then I decided that everyone could use this. After all, it does take a lot of time to do some of the retexturing. (Note that I did simply recolor the emerald blocks and ore blocks and recycled the ruby texture) Also, the names have been changed so it will say "ruby" instead of emerald.
I did do the textures except for the ruby so please rate, don't hate. I actually did do all the pixels on the ruby block and changed the parts of the ore.
I'm not lying to you, why are you lying to me? Here is a comparison of your textures and Mojang's textures, yours are on the left, Mojang's are on the right.
Blocks (Colorized):
Ores (Colorized):
Emerald (Stolen from Mojang)
To prove you just changed the color I can do the exact same thing with GIMP's Colorization filter. I just move the Hue slider all the way to the left and I get the same effect. Now I am not hating I was giving you advice.
The literal point of this was so that people could have rubies in minecraft without having to go through the trouble of doing it themselves. Plus, a lot of people don't know how to work renaming. I even said it on the thread: this was originally used for visualization but I figured a lot of people might prefer getting their rubies in, like, 10 seconds, rather than taking the time to do it themselves. So please get off my back because I already said this stuff!

The process of renaming is as simple as right-clicking an image and selecting Rename and entering a new name. Now because I don't want this topic to turn into a full out flame war I will leave you at this: These packs are fine for personal use, but the second you post it here it will almost automatically be met with a lot of hate from longtime residents of this forum who have actually made textures (including myself). Also when you think about it this pack is kind of impractical.
Actually, that's not how you rename items. You have to go into the language files and find the right one then change the names. Also, there isn't a language script for emerald so you have to write a new one to rename it. So please get off my back. If you thought I meant renaming the files, then clearly you're not paying attention.
Yeah, I don't like to make money off my creations. I also put on the original post that they are edited textures from Mojang to clear up anything that somebody may not like.

NOTE: For some reason, this resource pack only works if the files are in a folder and not in the zip file. Sorry for the inconvenience!
NOTE: I do not take credit for these textures. I have simply used Mojang textures but modified them.
Thanks for downloading!
Emerald ore: Colorized to make it red
Emerald: Replaced default texture with Mojang's ruby texture.
None of this work is yours, in the future please make your own textures.

P.S. I hope you do realize that this isn't giving me money in any way. It's just a download that I don't get a single cent from.
