Oh sorry, I forgot to address this. It didn't pop up in my notifications because I wasn't quoted, silly Btw I'm singlebut under 40 :c
Well anyways, I found that there weren't enough acoustic dynamics in the firework's explosion sound effect. I guess I just don't think that the reverberation with the flare (when the firework is shooting up) matched the reverberation of the actual explosion.
How much under 40, and, I understand your concern about the fireworks. Consider the proximity of the flare effect versus the proximity of the burst effect. You will get a tightly compressed sizzle for the flare and tail, and then to the burst and thuddy boom with much reverb. I will see if I can tighten the screws a bit though on the overall effect. Thank you for your constructive criticism. It's WAY helpful to have details so I can work with you to produce an even better sound immersion! :]

Around 21 years under 40, lel Also another thing that you could do with the firework explosion that would support the visual explosion and also mask any oddities from the large bang would be to add a sizzle from the sparks it creates. The first explosion in this sound effect demonstrates this effect almost perfectly.
HOLY CRUD, WHATS WITH ALL THE CAPS! Anyway, looks really cool, can I use it with other resource packs? Such as OCD?
This resource pack only affects the sounds, and the OCD pack only affects textures, so I don't see any problems with using both (For example I use this with Pixel Perfection and a pack that adds new title splashes, and modifies the end game text.)

I could easily enough add a dozen additional files, but I wanted to keep it simple.
For Minecraft 1.5.x:
You will need to drag and drop assets from the zip file for Sn0wSong and into the Minecraft.JAR file itself or use a MOD to add them without changing your original files.
For Minecraft 1.6.x:
Open the Sn0wSong ZIP file and change the folder contained within from "sounds" to "sound".
For Minecraft 1.7.x and 1.8.x:
Place the Sn0wSong ZIP file into the %appdata%/roaming/.minecraft/resourcepacks folder. The .JSON will interrupt and sort the folder exchange system for 1.8 and do nothing for 1.7.x, so one file works for all versions.
NOTE: For 1.7.x and 1.8.x you must activate the resource packs from within the Menu Options in-game.
I hope this settles the issue. How do I PIN of FLAG this comment for future posts?
PLEASE check out Sn0wZ0ne High-Res texture pack version 1.99c. It comes in 512x512, 256x256, 128x128 and 64x64 now!
Hello sn0w! I really really like your Sn0wSong resource pack. I was wondering if you are willing to give me the sheet music for any of the music in the pack. (mainly hal3 and/or calm1). Thank you very much!
I don't often get requests for my scores. Uhm...would beat-sheets with chord progressions suffice? LOL! Otherwise it will take me a while to hand-write the full scores.
Actually, a beat sheet would be just fine! But does it look similar to a regular piano sheet? Or do i have to learn to read it in a totally different way?
Resource packs folder in .Minecraft folder. You can open that folder in-game too.
Just kidding, not here to criticize you. Great pack. ;D
EDIT: Is there any way to only take the songs from this pack and leave out the rest of the sounds?

Ok, thanks!

You have to open up the resource pack, go into assets/minecraft, and rename "sound" to "sounds"
