Something I noticed that was forgotten maybe?
I remember when it would be sunset/sunrise, colors of the blocks would change (ie: sand would be kind of pink)
I don't see that anymore, I really liked that a lot.
1.6 works fine with zips, it just doesn't like the fact that you nested your contents inside a folder in the zip

@Afe: I -think- that was provided by MCPatcher/Optifine and not regular Minecraft. The files for it should still be in the .zip, but they may not be in the correct place because I haven't been able to install Optifine (My render-tweak-tool of choice). So I haven't been able to test it out.

About the customizer:
The site hasn't been updated, so I can't upload new textures for 1.5+ until they do. It's the reason I put together the AltPack. As soon as they upgrade the site, I'll put the new textures up there. It's out of my hands, though.

-facepalm- I forgot all about McPatcher >< Thanks for reminding me. Even with McPatcher it wouldn't work, but I was able to fix it by adding the lightmap folder from the 1.5 texture pack.

About the Zip problem, are you using OSX by any chance? Back in the day whenever i used to try and modify minecraft.jar i made the same mistake, it took me a while to understand the error. Now that i think of it, i totally missed that fact :\

It doesn't look like it. Typically .zip files from OS X users contain .DS_Store files all over the place.
Hello! I just want to say this is my most favorite texture/resource pack! I'm so happy that you are continuing it CuddleWoozle =)
I seem to be having the same issue as Aeridan where the "kitchen" textures seem to be replaced by small paintings. The paintings are neat but is there a way to get the kitchen textures back? Other than that keep up the amazing work! <3
Let me add my voice to those offering congratulations and thanks for your support for and contributions to this resource pack. I have tried many resource packs and just keep coming back to this one, it just does so much right!
That said, I think I have found a "bug" in the leaf textures. The pair of files leaves_birch.png and leaves_oak.png are identical, and both look like what I would call oak leaves. Also the pair leaves_birch_opaque.png and leaves_oak_opaque.png are identical, and look like what are probably birch leaves, so some files must have gotten mixed up. The result is that the trees all look the same, which is a shame, since the different leaf textures are actually really nice!

The decorative textures are actually still in the pack. I just renamed the file so it would use the complete set of paintings. (Which was the only reason the paintings are the default!) All you have to do to get back the decorations is go into the pack (should be resourcepacks/SummerFields RP1/assets/minecraft/textures/painting) and remove the painting version (or rename it) and rename the decoration image by removing the "_2" from the end of it. I'll be really happy when the customizer gets updated so that people can mix and match their favorites!

Actually no, I'm using Ubuntu Linux. It's really fun how Minecraft is so OS independent. Everyone can play!

Actually, they're the same textures that were used throughout the packs history. The birch leaves were always the same as the oak leaves since they actually shared the texture up until the last updates. I'm planning on making some different ones for the Birch, but right now the Oak leaves will have to do as a stand in.
Just a couple questions for you CuddleWoozle. Is the support file for metallurgy 2 updated for 1.6? and if so where do I put them?
No, it's not for 1.6+. Sorry. D: I'm really falling behind on my texture work. I -am- working on some things at the moment though, but I don't like to raise people's hopes so I'm not saying -what- I'm working on. (It'll be a bit of a surprise then...but it's something that people asked me for a lot when I was doing the textures for ExtraBiomes.)
Hey I unzipped the pack but it still does not show up in the resource packs.
Any one know a solution?
Make sure the textures are inside a folder within the resourcepack folder. IE: Resourcepack/SummerFields/assets/textures/allthestuffishere and NOT Resourcepack/assets/textures/etc.
i have been working on Better Than Wolves support for this in conjunction with other texture pack artists. i take no credit for any textures not even the ones i created as really all i did was cut and paste and a little shading and hue saturation lightness and colorizing. the link to the pack is http://www.mediafire...BTW_Support.zip. note that the mod is only compatible with 1.5.2 and as such add the textures from the zip folder to your texture pack zip. if you have trouble pm me. if i get lots of requests for how to then i will post another reply here.

please note that i am still working on these textures it is not fully complete. blocks are, few items and most of the btwtex folder is done. i will repost when 100% complete in all respects. enjoy!
You are super awesome, Calico. Thank you for doing these because BTW has to be one of the most asked-for mod supports. Not being able to use my other favorites or 'cheat' in all of the items for texture testing purposes defeats me every time I try.

- Birch
- Jungle
- Spruce
- Oak (the classic one)
Yes! now you'll be able to select your favorite wood color!!! it's not possible to mix different woods yet but we have a choice now! Each extracted file is ready to use as a normal texture pack.
You know that we have some problems with the animations (water, lava n' fire) and HD texture packs (MUST READ THIS!)
Water n' lava on redstone ores n' fire on every grass block it's a very annoying bug...
The problem is that the game is configured to work with the 16x terrain image, and we can change the terrain image size but we can't change the place where the animations are placed so if the game animates the same texture places we get animations on grass, bricks, netherrack, pumpkins n' redstone ore (at least) check the pic:
But thanks to 500 Internal Server Error we can disable the animations with a patch, you can find it in this THREAD, THAT'S THE SOLUTION TO GET RID OF THE ANIMATIONS at the moment, you can also find a patch to force the game to render the items with the current texture pack instead of using the default GUI blocks image (all this textures have the default GUI), and of course all this works better using the BlockLauncher.
If there is any doubt I'll answer it asap keep your great work n' thanks again Woozle!

I'm having the same problem. It's set up exactly like other 1.6 packs, but it still doesn't work.
EDIT: Never mind, I got it to work. I just made a new WinRAR ZIP file and copied everything into it.
