No, it doesn't. It is just as laggy as the defualt texture pack.
I don't see the default texturepack to be that laggy anyways,
It was meant more of a "Not as laggy as most" kinda way,
considering alot of textures out there do generate huge amounts of lag.
(It's also hard to judge the laggyness, considering my computer doesn't
lag with either default or this one, so thanks for the correction)

All texture packs that are 16x have the same amount of lag. The higher the resolution though, the more lag it gets.
This is actually pretty cool. It has a nice style, but in my opinion you could take it a bit further. Right now it's kind of flat and dull. If you could bring out the details a bit more by making things look slightly more sharp it would look pretty interesting I think.

Personally I think making things sharp removes quality, the RPG texture packs have way too many lines in my opinion as a result of their sharpness. However, that is my opinion and you should go with whatever you like.

That is exactly my thought. Took it strait from my mind!

My texturepack provides a smooth look to minecraft,
that doesn't generate much lag,
making a enjoyable play experience every time you log in!
I would like any feedback you can provide
You can download this nice texture from PlanetMinecraft today:

Remember: WIP stands for Work in Progress. Not all the blocks are there.
Note:
I am choosing witch blocks I do next at random,
feel free to suggest what I should update next!

The dirt's kinda orange, isn't it?
I've been here for a loooooooooong time.

A good update in my opinion would be Ores, Obsidian, and Nether textures.
Once again great work, you have my support!
Thanks, good idea.
Some how the ore coloring is giving me a fight, though.
I might update nether things next.
Lol.
Ever been to Virginia?
There dirt is just as orange, if not more...
from where I come from dirt and sand are no different,
so I went with the orange-ish dirt from Virgina, where my relatives all live.
Its Work in Progress, that is really most of the the textures XDMade "Nether" into "Hell"

(Will likely also add more contrast)
-.-
That guy over there already said it's the same amount of lag for every 16x texture pack. Not the best excuse-thingy.
*Sniff*
