I got suggestions dont listen if you dont want
-the hilt of the iron sword could do with patterning (maybe a jewel on it??)
-maybe make the blade thinner?
-(if you cant forget about it)can you change the enchanting glow? maybe have something other than the purple flashes. like a golden glow?
-if you do the iron sword could you do a jewel on all the iron tools?(and armour?)
other than that i love it anyway these are only small which dont matter too much

Thanks for the suggestions, I will be looking at the iron sword again at some point not a sure about adding jewels as that is already done in Sphax and other packs, I don't mind the odd jewel in more expensive materials like gold items but iron we will see.
Wow, I was out of town for a week or so, and all this great stuff! Really looking good, those leaves don't seem to have a pattern to me, I think they look great. Icicles are a nice touch to the snowy grass. Keep adding those kinda things, they really make a pack shine.
Would you like us to post pictures of builds with the pack? Or do you already have enough pictures?
Hey, i check eveyday this page waiting for a download link.
I have just seen the creeper video and it looks awesome, really scary. My son love it too.
Wip download please!!!
Hey, ah I hope you guys enjoy using it for your minecrafting together :-)
It won't be long now so keep doing what your doing and check back.

Thanks, I've been working into some old textures and generally tightening up the pack while the website is being finished. Glad you like the new snow biomes work and I certainly will keep adding little touches here and there.
Of course you can post your builds, be great to see what you have been doing with the test pack
Video of the how snow bio textures are shaping up.
As I have said before, keep up the great work. I really don't have a single thing bad to say about this Texture pack so far. Love everything about it. The art is right up my alley.
It will be great to start using this and seeing how different my world will look and definitely will spread the word on this one to the friends I play with and others who are just starting off.
Thanks for the updates and keep em coming! The torches/beds & snow area from the last videos look amazing too.
I feel odd that I am so excited for a Texture pack and not a game for once.
Can't wait for first release. It really looks amazing with the shaders. That snow and spruce leaves are perfect.
Also, can't believe I have been following this since page 7 and corner_g since page 1 haha.
Just curious, but do you still have this sandstone texture? I much prefer it to the current one (I like to use sandstone as an inside aesthetic building material, so I prefer this one rather than the "bricks" as such).
As long as a similar texture to this is available as an alternative, I'm happy
Not long now . I know i keep saying it but not long now
Okay, re visited the oak leaves, and I really do prefer the more oversized leaf style but not as big as right back at the start and also made it much more holey. I feel it brings the cartoony style more into play and helps reduce things getting to bitty when further away.
Steel, if you're looking in let me know what you think?
Yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssss, the leaves were something I was still hoping you would revisit (I mentioned them a while ago but you put them off because they take so long - it was totally worth the effort though, amirite? :P)
Ahhhh, that actually does make me very happy. Can't wait for release!

Thanks you so much, it's feeling like this is more than just a set of textures to me also i guess with the other things and the website, servers etc it's becoming more than my little hobby/past time and the amount of hours has made it quite significant in my daily routine
The support and excitement building is really like a wave carrying me along i'm so pleased people have taken to CH so strongly.

Yep you have been along for the ride for quite some time now Alex, long may it continue
Great to hear your feedback on the latest stuff, i do actually want to revisit the sand stone textures it might be after first release though so watch this space as they say

Haha i know right the new oak/spruce leaves have really pumped up the whole feel of the environment with the style and was well worth doing even though not my strongest area to work on.
Sorry, I have been inactive for a while. Still coming along. It's brilliant, it really is and I'm sure plenty of people agree with me. Don't let the endless begging for a release put pressure on you . Carry on the good work!
Hey no problem at all, hows the Nordic build coming?
Thanks again, i'm pleased people will get their hands on it soon, although i sure this will bring with it more requests and suggestions... eek..
I'm really tempted to get the VOLTZ mod done, bad me for watching Yogcast videos when there's so much to do!!
To be honest the leaves don't bother me that much. I think everything is perfect!
Old leaves weren't so good, had a number chats about them but new ones i feel have got it right........you can tell by how long Sheep kept his S key held down!
Hey folks! I've been housing moving this weekend and needless to say I've accomplished a HUGE amount of nothing on the pack this weekend! ;p
I'll buy a house with a basement, personally drive to where you live and kidnap you, then lock you in the basement until you finish. :3 With much love ofcourse, Cause you're the only other texture pack I've shown interest in for months now. Specially with the shaders :3
After all these 45 pages of solid, professional perfection, I'm glad to have my post on the first page!
Sticking to the most outstanding of the last few pages: The final version of oak leaves are amazing! I know you would probably have more ideas up your sleeve, but I think they need to be any better, and using a defibrillator on myself is a hard thing to do.
Those ice-cycles under the snow look wonderful! (finally! Another word!) I like the looks of ice-cycles under snow if it's done right.
I think they might look better though if you sort-of merged them into the snow. TOTALLY not self advertising... But kind-of like this from my Definitance?

Ha ha quite creepy yet very flattering at the same time......thanks
How many textures do you think you have left to do?
To release the work in progress nothing really as the terrain blocks are pretty much there bar the odd few. We are actually waiting on the website and i'm just filling in the time getting whats finished as polished as possible To have a totally completed pack TONS mainly being mob textures as they take AGES and I've done 2 and started a 3rd so far!

Thanks G yep you and Moo were right there from the start Yes leaves/trees have really transformed the landscape so i'm pretty happy with 'em.
I looked at icicles pics and the ones that stood out were where the snow was sitting on top and the icicles had formed in the colder shadow of the snow caps so i do like them being under rather than part of the snow but always happen to listen to feedback as you know
Okay back on some texture work today. I've gone back to adding a bit more to the beds as it was really bugging me the white matteress/sheets were a bit plain..........thanks to some inspiration from Miss feathers I used some wood details to make it a bit more interesting. You like folks?
NOTICE..... i may loose internet over the next 1-2 days as its being installed in the new house and may have a bit of down time. I'll check in when i can

Then I'll say this right away: That bed is PERFECT!
I might find some inspiration in there as well. After all, I have 5 packs released right now that have no bed texture.

New ladder.......oh my the the old one was really poor when I looked up close! Got a feeling some other old textures will be getting an overhaul....wooden door next I think is on the cards, new torch also
ive been searching packs for so long and havent found a good one one day i was just googling good medieval texture pack and this pops up and im like :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
IF THIS WAS THE DEFAULT TEXTURE PACK I WOULD LOVE MOJANG right now i hate the default texture so ugly to meh eyes XD

It's kind-of interesting that Mojang actually encourages texture pack development. It seems like they expected at least some people to dislike their textures.
Sadly, Minecraft will always have the same default. Though that does create more need for better texture packs, which is great for pack developers.

Man, I missed a lot while I was gone, but GOOD LAWD! Chroma Hills gets better every time I see it. I watched the walkaround video on the beautiful map with all the windmills, and it made me just itch to see how CH would look on the map I had been working on!
I have absolutely no artistic critiques, I envy your talent and sheer skill. I just have a couple of stylistic/general pack questions, and forgive me if I repeat something I've said before or that I missed while I was gone, there's a lot for me to catch up on. ^^'
-I think you mentioned doing some alts? While I love all the textures, there's just a handfull of them that won't quite match my building style. (Glass, torches (I tend to build more towards lamps) glowstone and a couple others)
-How much CTM are you working on? Some CTM in mushrooms, flowers and most importantly to me, bookshelves would be awesome, and though I haven't seen it done before, CTM beds would be really nice in my opinion.
-Do you think you'll do any textures for random mobs or maybe throw in a thing or two for some major mods like Mo' Creatures?
- Atmospheric effects like those in Misa's pack really make a cool difference, though I have no clue how they work. Her clouds and night sky are really stunning, too. I'm absolutely in love with custom HD night skies. Do you plan to work on anything like that?
Sorry for the volley of questions, I just want to get back up to speed
On the recent things I saw, I love the icicles on the snow, they're pretty and add a nice twist. Also, you mentioned revisiting the wood door, would you possibly consider making it slightly more ornate? Not castle-fantasy fancy, but perhaps with some subtle carving and/or maybe an arched window. I love little details like that! A suggestion of glass panes around the interior edge of the window in it wouldn't be bad, I know I liked that touch way back when I used to use the painterly pack.

Shiny!->
I was gonna make a cool signature pic...But then I got bored and discovered Dragon Cave.

Great to hear I'm really just tidying up and tightening some of the artwork now once the website is ready I'll get the the first release out.
May get a couple more tools/weapons done before that as well.
Would you like us to post pictures of builds with the pack? Or do you already have enough pictures?
