Ok so i watched a video telling me that all i need to do is: 1: Download / 2: open and compress files / 3: Place compressed file into mine-craft texture pack folder ok so ive seen videos of people opening a mine-craft folder and it being there but i cant find that folder, so can someone tell me what i am doing wrong or send a link with re-download? some one please help me!
First of all wrong section second of all what you do is go to mac Hd then your user. in that folder you will find a folder called library open that in there you will find application support then open that in there will be a minecraft folder there you go sorry if i said then in there a lot
If you're running Lion or Mountain Lion, you won't have the library folder visible, however it still exists. Open up a finder window, and go to the 'go' menu.
Choose "Go to folder..."
In the box, type:
"~/Library/Application Support/minecraft"
(without the "")
Here's what you need to do:
Step 1: Switch to Linux
And that's it!
In all seriousness, listen to those above me, I have no knowledge of Mac. A mod should move this though.
1: Open Minecraft Launcher.
2: Sign in.
3:Select Texture Packs.
4:Click "Open Texture Folder"
Thats the fastest way to do it, and when the texture pack is placed in the texture folder, it will be ready in your minecraft as soon as you put it there... And remember to use MCPatcher, cause you dont want to be called a noob by water textures...DokuCraft Y U SO MEAN...
Hope this helps.

No, no no! The reason Sir_SnarbleBottom can't get to the folder in the first place is because when you click "Open Texture Folder" Nothing happens. Do you even have a mac?
