I'm having problems with downloading the pack. I can get the setup.exe but [what I assume is] the installer gets stuck half way through saying: error loading webpage. Am I missing the link to the .zip file or does it not exist? I'd much rather just get the .zip than install extraneous programs (like every other texture pack).

i have no idea what you've been clicking, but here's a guide, if you dont get this then install some sort of addblockers cause your obviously getting side tracked by ads
oh and dont install that setup.exe... unnecessary malware
And I forgot to mention in my last post, but of course it won't be distributed for profit or anything like that, I just have some edits to it, to make my maps look better, e.g. the stone textures are moved around in preperation for 1.8.
Hey Monster, I CAN NOT download this texture pack anymore, the download is SO EXTREMELY BROKEN! It literally constantly redirects me away from the Ravand download page and goes to an ad. It is completely impossible to get the download and it's annoying and immensely frustrating. Please help
I can't seem to place the metadata blocks. I have the texture pack installed with mcpatcher and optifine and i have the single player commands mod. using the /setblock command, the original texture of the block gets placed. Also, the //set command does not work. How do I get these block textures to show up?

mcpatcher and optifine tends to clash with each other, you usually want to avoid having them both installed at the same time, as it tends to bother interactions with ctm

One thing I noticed, on the Sandstone meta 5 (the natural looking one) connected textures seems to be broken on the North and East sides, it looks fine on South and West. Would love to use a more natural looking sandstone in my builds.
I would love to download this pack because it looks amazing, but your download site is honestly terrible and makes downloading anything impossible without, most likely, downloading tons of malware, and even with the malware gods appeased, I don't think I would have a resource pack to show for it. Please move it or make like a guide to navigating that site without getting infected by ALL of the viruses.
But seriously, great work with this pack, hope I can download it soon.

Well, I finally got it to work. The second adfoc.us link did finally give me the Conquest download. It didn't the first time, though. Just have to be persistent. That's a really good reason for nobody to bother with your pack, though, so I would STRONGLY recommend switching to another ad service. That's the most annoying one I've ever encountered.
Bruh aren't those from Westerose (the game of thrones recreation) that's actually stuff from a custom mod for that specific server.

Monsferfish, I'm very glad I came across your pack. i've been trying to find "the" pack for my map for quite a while now. (I've been working on an adventure map for over 2 years. It still has a ways to go!)

Paintings.. I find it very difficult to work with a pack that has weird things like doorknobs, knives, banners etc. as paintings. I usually just delete the paintings from the pack and use vanilla, but they do tend to spoil the atmosphere a bit.
I'd like to be able to recommend the pack as the "official" pack for my map, but I can't do that unless the paintings change. Any plans on that?
Also, general recommendation, if you don't mind. Some kind of more transparent versioning system? When I go through your ad.focus links I get a "Conquest_.zip" that really tells me nothing as to whether or not it's newer than my current version. Since you're still indev on this project, it'd be nice if we could tell when the pack updates. I know your thread initially said weekly updates, but.. you and I both know how life tends to get in the way of hobbies.

i thought it was just a visual glich so i clicked where it normally shows.
it started to download a SETUP.EXE for a virus.
i almost died of a real freaking heart attack because i had to click cancel faster then you can even blink because of how fast my download speed is.
almost broke my hand too because if how fast i whip cracked it.
ING STOP USING AD SITES. just put adds on your own god damn site page so you get the revenue without endangering EVERYONE who wants to use your ing texture pack with virus adds.

i believe that in the next minecraft update (1.8) you can bundle packs with worlds, and if you running a server you should already be able to apply a server based pack
Block models in resource packs can now be customized
Replaces the files in /assets/minecraft/models/
Block format: UV has to be [0,1] (Textures cannot "borrowed" from neighbouring block textures), planes need to have 1 axis 'identical' (so aligned to either x,y,z), plane rotation can only be -45/45 on a single axis, from/to and uv coordinates are in 'pixelspace' (multiples of 1/16th of a block)
Rotation is in increments of 22.5 degrees on a single axis
Being able to override not just a model, not just a block's model, but an individual block variant's model
F3+T and F3+S now reload models
Resource packs can now be bundled with a world, put it in the map save directory and name it "resources.zip"

downloading a setup.exe does absolutly nothing, clearly you have no idea how computers work, it's only after you have download AND clicked the setup.exe that anything happens, and even then it always asks you if you want to install unknown software
and it's not adfocus's fault that you dont know where to click, its up to you to understand the layout of a web page and where the false download links are. if any setup.exes come up without you clicking then just exit them... thats not hard
Yea, we're using bukkit to do all the "easy" stuff for the map first that requires WE, VS and itemizer, then we'regonna go back with forge server and run NPCs to finish in.
I hate to say this, because it denies our benefactor of some monies (I think?) but using chrome or firefox with the "ad block plus" add-on greatly reduces the amount of malware and viruses (and ads) you encounter on the web. It seems more than one person has had trouble getting the pack because of the 2 ad focus click throughs required to get it. I think it's a smart idea since it kind of "doubles the revenue" to get to the download itself. I do wonder tho if a site like ad.fly may give better results? I've never worked with either. (none of my stuff would generate any money lol)
