Because you've been working on alternate wood textures I was wondering if you could possibly make two extra plank types, as a request!
I love the additional types of wood that mods add to the game but it can be annoying too if they don't match your texture pack whatsoever
The planks I'd love to see in your style are the Willow and Jacaranda tree planks from the Biomes 'o Plenty mod.
I totally understand if you don't want to/can't get into texturing for mods and modpacks so feel free to dismiss my request if you don't feel like doing it.
Sheep, the alt wood textures look amazing. Can't wait for the alt stone textures as well. Having just built a leviathan desert city, I would say that normal sandstone COULD use an alt texture, but that's just my two cents. Excited to see the new mobs too!
I agree, I think the red sandstone could do with an alt as well. Basically I think all natural textures should have at least one alternate to really hide any tiling and make the world seem a lot less 'gamey'.
I'll chuck in alts for both of them and their stairs/slabs (which should be a lot faster to do now that I've made a template).

Shouldn't be too hard at all! I've got a few half finished wood textures that I didn't end up using for the pack so I can easily just adjust them to suit those two textures. I'll post them in this thread soon enough, probably in a reply to your post there so you get a notification.
I gotta say, I adore the magma block texture you made, Sheep! I'm struggling to figure out how to use it in builds just so I can look at it all the time, hehe.
Looking forward to seeing those modded wood textures :0
Been very busy this past week getting stuff ready for uni next week. Hopefully these textures will do. You'll have to open them up in paint or something to make them separate 16x files though, sorry about that!

In other pack news, I'm almost done with the next update. I've done all alts for stairs and slabs and also I've made 2 alt textures for each sandstone too.
@n_jayne, thanks! I'm pretty happy with how it turned out too. I found it looks really sweet in fireplaces like it's glowing coals or something. Could also be of some use in a hellish type build but I definitely have no experience with that...
I so much enjoy pixel perfection, but I also love modded minecraft. As such I've decided to start doing what I can to contribute towards progress on a Pixel Perfection Mod Add-On. I'm certainly not as skilled an artist as XSSheep, but I'm handy enough to copy his work and alter it to fit like things.
So far I've done work on ores which is a WIP (Tin definitely needs modifications). I've replaced a number of GUIs from Tinkers and the ic2 metal former. I've also started on some of the ingots.
If anyone else is interested in contributing I've put together a GitHub with my progress thus far.

I ask because me and my group of friends exclusively use your resource pack for our server and a couple of blocks/mobs are missing textures. Thanks for listening!
Just 1 more day and I'll be done with exams everyone, sorry it's been such a big break and so quiet, had a lot going on (exams, other uni assessments, making android apps, lots of computer issues, etc.).
Hope there isn't too much new stuff in the new update coming out too, don't wanna be even further behind!

The wiki has a pretty solid list of the relevant 1.11 changes, namely:
I'm going to finish the new shulker box, totem of undying and exploration map items, the observer and the new particles and then I think I'll release this update.
I've already done the different coloured shulker boxes/shulkers, polar bears, husk and stray were completed a little while ago, there are the new alt textures (all planks, sandstone blocks, some other stuff) as well as alt stairs/slab textures added for all of them too, fixed sky issues some people were having with mcpatcher/optifine (stars not appearing) and skelly textures have been redone a little bit while I was working on the stray.
Pretty decent update I think!
I also was trying out some new tall grass. Currently have it as an addon pack but I really think it fits the normal grass texture well so I'm not sure if I should just stick it in by default. Some opinions on this would be great!
EDIT: Oh, skeleton horses, llamas and the new evil mobs from the mansion will be coming in the update after this one which I'll hopefully actually get completed and released pretty quickly this time...
All the font for this pack is actually just font I made myself for the pack so it doesn't really have a name I guess!
No offense intended here as the original pp texture is nice.
But, by any possibility do you have an alternative netherrack texture that is kind of bold, instead of soft and smooth?
Like something that's grunge, like the water world effect.

This list matches up with everything I've noticed missing from 1.11. Hopefully that helps give you an idea of the scale.
Oh, and the overlays Phoiyikas mentioned are a recent Optifine feature. I can imagine many interesting things you might be able to do with this.
