Is there a single link to any of these mod support texture additions or should I start combing through the thread for them?
Thanks again for making this texture pack! I'm using it in my Let's Play series featuring HarvestCraft and my other mods. =)
I was trying to go through and complete as many of the required textures and guidelines as possible before uploading them but on second thoughts it wasn't the best idea, it's a lot better if I just upload the mod support and then update it from time to time when I get more completed.
Anyways, I'll upload the mod support that I've done so far (with a LOT of help from some of you guys) asap, probably this evening or tomorrow.
You'll need to rename the file to 'magmacube' and put it in the textures/entity/slime folder.
I'm currently trying to update my models so they work in 1.9, it's quite a pain honestly, lots of my models are a little bit broken so it's taking me a bit of a while to go through them... So yea, update is still coming, just not as fast as I'd like.
I'm getting there, there don't seem to be any modelling programs updated for 1.9 yet (that I've seen anyways) so I'm having to try and adjust my models by hand to get them to work in 1.9. I think I might make a few of the models a bit more simple (the doors in particular) so that I can push an update out already as there's a decent amount of other changes too rather than just 1.9 textures.
I'm having a tad bit of a problem with redstone dust. The texture won't properly connect up. Everything else looks splendid now. (This is where there's supposed to be an image, but The file is "over 1 GB." Thanks, MCForum.)
'm on Minecraft 1.8.7 with Optifine HD Ultra D6, with Pixel Perfection version 3.2.
u keep up the good work man
and you know i am having the same problem as this guy!
some weird stuff happens when u use optifine with this pack like the redstone not connecting the right away and there are lines in the sky and other stuff
i would just use MC patcher but for some reason the glass panes get a white high light in some texture packs if you dont use opfitine with mipmaps on
XSSheep, I'm thrilled to be able to add the magma cube texture to the pack! Hooray
I'd love to see those mod support textures! I tend not to play modded Minecraft for the simple fact that I have to play with ugly "vanilla-ish" textures - I'm that much of a stickler.
Also, I've been tweaking your pack just a little here and there to suit my tastes, doing stuff like removing fish heads/tails from the cooked variants. I don't know if you'd be interested in seeing what I've done. If you respond to this part of my post, I'll make you a short list and give an Imgur album link.
(Fyi, you may know me as the person who goes around /r/Minecraft repping your pack almost constantly... and the person you changed the look of the title.png for.)

Well I'm really not sure why that is... I've got a 1.8.1 version of optifine running and I have no issues at all... Redstone lines up correctly and everything... I'll have to try an updated version, if I don't get the issues in that then I really don't know what I can do...
As for the glass panes issue, I've noticed it as well and I actually think I know how to fix it. I managed to fix the weird white flickering on spiders and endermen I used to have with shaders and I think it's a similar issue. In any case, it *should* be fixed in the next version.

I'd love to see the changes you've made to the pack! If there's stuff that really just makes a lot of sense to me and isn't just personal preference I'd probably adjust the item or block in my pack to match it as well.
Always nice to hear of people repping my pack and spreading the word too, thanks!
Also people, considering the changes to models in 1.9 and how much my pack uses models (for alternate textures among other things) I've decided I'm going to release an update for the 1.8.x version of the pack and then I'll also release a 1.9 snapshot version too once I get all the models fixed up (most are done but some are a bit tricker to convert).
Everything for the 1.8.x update I wanted to include is done so I just need to upload the pack now. I'll try to do it shortly but I want to get some more pictures to fix up the OP while I'm at it as it's been broken for a long time now due to how annoying editing pages is on the forums currently.
I posted a resource to Spigot and used this pack in the screenshots. Naturally, more attention was paid to the amazing resource pack, and I got a bunch of private messages begging for a link to it.
Jeez, XSSheep, stop stealing my thunder with your amazing pack!
Sorry for the slience, guys, been real busy with uni as I'm approaching the exam period so I haven't really had much to show.
Here's a preview of the new end stuff though, still trying to get my models fixed up before I release the update. Also shows the new command blocks (they have an animation which obviously isn't shown) and the new path block.
Do I see some new command block textures? The old design was one of my favourites, but now that they're directional it probably makes sense to update the texture. Whatever they are, they look good!
Yes they are indeed new command block textures. Once you see them up close and with their neat animation I think you might actually like these more than the old one. It's really easy to see what they're doing with the different arrows and whatnot as well as which way is front or back while also turning out pretty snazzy imo, I'm looking forward to letting you guys check them out!
Well XSSheep, finally getting back to you about the textures I've tweaked in my own version of PP. And I do say tweaked, because all of them began with your (stunning) work.
Well XSSheep, finally getting back to you about the textures I've tweaked in my own version of PP. And I do say tweaked, because all of them began with your (stunning) work.
Now that that's out of the way, I seriously can't wait for 1.9!! It's gonna be awesome!
P.S. The polished andesite texture in the PP signature graphic is outdated.
Very true, the signature has a few other outdated textures too.. I'll prep one so it's ready for the next update. Also going to reformat the OP so it has pictures again and the spacing isn't so broken hopefully!
Love the little tweaks you've made too - I might actually implement a couple of similar things in the official version such as more interesting coloured carrots (might not be that shade of purple though - just so they're more easily distinguishable from the new beetroots), the updated saddle (yep, must've been overlooked!) and the toned down fish colours.
As for 1.9, it's very much almost ready, the only thing really broken now are the doors which I'm still trying to fix. Not obvious what's wrong with them so it's taking a little longer to fix but all my other models look fine now and the only new stuff I'm still missing is the textures for the shield, the new wing item, the new boats and I need to re-add my iron bar model too (although the bars are working fine without it currently so it's not high on the priority list right now).
Good news as well everyone, thanks to a couple of people (especially insomniac_lemon) I've got my model issues pretty much sorted out so it really shouldn't take me too long to finish off the last few things for the update!

Hey XSSheep, Any chance we could get a download link for that magma cube texture? it looks great and I'd love to see it in-game.
Aye, here's the magma cube:

wicked pack breh, ive gone through a lot of packs in my time and this is my favorite
thanks for posting that magma cube texture too, looks real noice. i used it right away. for some reason the poor magma cube usually gets left behind

Thanks mate!

As lovely as usual~ I always look forward to updates from this pack.
Cheers for understanding, everyone! (as always)
