I'm still unsure what to think about this one... it reminds me a lot of where I was originally going with my first pack.. I think I'm gonna take a break from my update for a few hours and play with this some. I'll get back to you with some good feedback in a bit.
edit: after hitting the test track... what immaculatedis said is pretty much spot on. to add to that though, everything feels too flat.. I learned that images, while they look great in theory...when applied to a texture in mc, they lose all depth. either add shading to things like the record player, dispenser,etc.. or make use of the shaders like I did. also.. the top/side of the furnace,disp... needs more texture.. it's too smooth. and the ore blocks...other than the lapis, they seem really out of place.
now..certain things, like the end, cauldron, enchanting table... love it! I also think you have done a good job with your overall theme. I like what you did with the ore textures... but the way you presented them...no. you should make them believable...like they are part of the stone.
overall I actually like this pack.. I would love to see it progress, and become more yours and less stock. I'm gonna keep an eye on this. (and if you decide to play with bumpmaps, pm me...I have a few ideas...lol)
I really like this texture pack and will be using it for a looong time.
Thanks very much for putting it together.
One issue though... my slabs and stairs all seem to have the default wood color, no matter what type of plank I use to create them.
I see that MinecraftWiki says that colored wood stairs was available from snapshot 12w25a, but the wooden slabs for all wood colors was available form snapshot 12w17a.
Since your texture pack is listed as 12w22a could you please update the new slab textures?
It would be very much appreciated.
PS : If you could make this texture pack to be compatible with Jammy Furniture Mod, I would love you to the end of the world and back. I may even pay for it. Jammy's mod has a lot of "modern" items, and I think it will match perfectly with your texture pack. Please would you consider doing this?
Hey guys'n girls!
First of all, thank you so much for your postive responses!
And then, I'm so sorry for the lack of updates lately. University has been a little stressfull and I had lots of other stuff to do, but now that the semester is over I'm planning on much more improvement that my tp surely needs ^^

Well I tested that, and everything seems to work in my case. http://i1243.photobu...7-17_214226.png
Perhaps you didn't download the client for 12w27a and still played on 1.2.5 where this isn't available yet?
If you could make this texture pack to be compatible with Jammy Furniture Mod
Primarily I want to focus completing the pack and get rid of the things which are getting the most complains, such as the ores, chests etc. Then I'll try to support the most popular mods
I do have major problems with the tp-customizer though. I don't know why, but despite using different browsers, no single one uploads my textures .... any suggestions?
Anyway, again, thanks a lot for your support,
You are correct in saying that I did not download the latest snapshot. I'm still using 1.2.5 so the error is on my side and not with the texture.
Thanks for pointing that out to me. Sometimes I don't recognise the most basic of issues... lol.
I understand completely that you would like to focus on your TP before adding support for mods, so I will patiently wait until such time as you can get to it.
In the meantime I will try my hand at making Jammy Furniture compatible with your TP. I will upload some screenshots and if you aprove, I will send the textures to you for future use/refinement.
Thanks again for your time and efforts and keep up the good work!
