I can not find any 1.5.2 download links, correct me if I am wrong..
You should read through the last few pages to see if anyone else has had a similar issue. Or use the search function.

There are no 1.5.2 links, although you could try this.
I don't think anyone's made a program for backwards conversion yet; you're best bet's going to be getting a default texture pack for 1.5.2, resizing it to 512x, and manually cutting + pasting the textures into their new, stitched together forms.
I am having an issue with the Defualt Realism x256, it's not loading on my computer, my game freezes for a bit, as it usually does when I load texture pack but then something strange happens, and instead of loading the texture pack I want, it just switches to the default texture pack. This is very strange, as it doesn't happen when I use the Smooth x256 version, but it does with the default x256 version. If anyone has a solution to this, I would be very appreciative.
Probably java heap space. Dedicate more RAM to Minecraft.
I just dedicated an entire gigabyte of RAM to Minecraft... shouldn't that be plenty? I've run just fine with 350 MB, This seems to only be happening with Sphax PureBD Craft x128 and R3d.Craft Default Realism x256. Smooth Realism x256 seems to run just fine, even with only 350 megabytes of RAM. OCD Craft, works fine as well, what I find strange is usually when I don't have enough RAM allotted, the game would just crash, but it doesn't crash, it auto-jumps to the Default texture pack(Mojang). Maybe it's a bug on Mojang's side?

You need more RAM than 350mb for these HD packs. Sphax cause it has a lot of ctm stuff and R3D 256x because well. More HD. A gb will be fine. Sometimes i can run with 768mb of RAM.

Tried it with a Gigabyte, not enough it seems. Same thing happens. I'm starting to believe more and more it's a bug on Mojangs side.

Mine works just as intended. Definitely NOT a Mojang problem. It's on your end. I want to help but don't have the patience to type out all the possible things that could fix it. But I do know one thing it's not on Mojangs end.
Thanks to you, i didnt see a decline button on the installer and i now have SnapDo stuck on my browser and have to go through tons of programs to clean up my computer, thanks
Amazing texture pack. I've been using it on and off because of some missing textures, though :/ The most obvious ones I see are Diamonds and Water. Great pack though I wish I saw more like this

So it's their fault that you didn't see something? Makes total sense...
I did the textures for balkons weapon mod if anyone wants them. I will do some other mods later hopefully.

I didn't even think people still used my version of the pack. I can make some edits and hand them out if uniblue lets me that is. I had some free time so would anyone want this brewing stand I made.
It's not RAM then, get a better graphics card/processor.
If it still doesn't work, you seriously need a new computer/just use 128x xD
I have the 2011 27 inch iMac with 4gb RAM, 1gb dedicated to Minecraft.... Can't run R3dCraft 256x
It's not Mojang...
Looks like the issue was Optifine. I removed it, and everything worked fine.

I think if you delete the textures he has for those weapons/tools Minecraft will fill in what's gone with the default vanilla texture ones.

It's so realistic. Like, it's the most realistic texture pack. Even more realistic than [REDACTED].
