The Vines look great. Same overall layout as the original, and beautifully painted. I'll reserve my full judgement until I can see how it looks with the other textures though . I've been happily building a nice little structure, and I've strewn some vines around in anticipation for the update. Perhaps by the time they're grown, your update will be available for download.....
I really like this pack, I do have some gripes, but all originate from the default MC textures, and nothing this pack does.
I'm unsure though, has lava been touched yet? It's hard to tell (default lava has always been pretty bad, along with glowstone and netherrack).
Ive located up to 7168Mb of RAM to Java and still it states that it runs out of memory any clue why?
Because, while you may have that much RAM in your system, you don't have that much "free" to give. And, that's WAY overkill anyway for many reasons.
Allocate only 512MB (Yes, only 512MB) if you're using the 256x256 pixel resolution texture pack or less. If you're trying to use the 512x512 pixel resolution texture pack, don't. Try with 256x256 or less FIRST.

512mb? o.o ****. What would you suggest with 128x+tekkit 128x through the technic launcher? Cause I'm running it alright.

Don't know about this Technic Launcher you mention. And, while you may be able to run things "all right" with higher memory allocation, you should actually be able to run things much smoother and better in general by allocating LESS memory. Basically, no more than you need. Allocating more can actually lead to excessive file paging (there's been multiple discussions on this in different places) and actually reduce performance etc. Allocating too much memory can even simulate a memory leak.
Ive tried that, it runs betwen 80-300 fps depending on how much it has to render, I have 8GB of physical RAM and 4 GB Virtual on a 64bit system. The whole 7GB was just test incase it would fix the issue
So, you're saying you tried allocating LESS memory? See my other comment above.
I tried something for the glass too, if you're interested.
<snip>
(I know the pixels don't match up 100%, just made it very quickly based on the original)
And here's how that looks in game:

I really like the color scheme on that version, it blends better with the other textures.
Personally, I never really liked the heavy pixelated feel of the Diagonals in the original. I like how Vattic's Faithful 32x32 pack made the diagonals less blocky while keeping the feel of the original. I think the same concept should be extended to this pack, but in higher resolution. Just my opinion though.
I want to keep the hassle of you for finding the textures that you still have to do. So here we go. you need to do cobwebs, all sapling and flowers, dead bush, vines (I saw the facebook post on this texture), flint and steal, apple, coal, diamond, iron, gold, bowl and stew, seeds, wheat, bread, all armor, flint, all food, buckets, minecart, saddle, iron door, painting, golden apple, sign, redstone and placed redstone, snowball, boat, leather, brick, clay, sugar cane, paper, book, slimeball, compass, fishing rod, clock, glowstone dust, ink sac, bone, sugar, cake, bed, repeater (placed is done), cookie, map, shears, melon slice, all seeds, ender pearl, blaze rod, all enchanting stuff, disks, dies, eggs, cocoa beans, and eye of ender. Not sure if I would call it 85% completed, but love the texture pack. I dont see a difference in all of the size packs, besides lag, so i recamend 64x64. I see it as the same as 512x. Thanks for reading this whole post. This should count as like 5 posts.

The technic launcher is used for the technic pack, tekkit, yogbox, hack slash mine and can be used for vanilla. It lets you allocate specific memory to java and runs from a seperate folder, but i'm running 2gb RAM dedicated to java through the control panel.

Thanks. Thinking about it, I had heard of it before. But, still didn't know anything about it.
I downloaded it to check it out. From the looks of things, I am FAR FROM impressed. The dang thing is too basic, slow as hell, and needs a lot of memory to run. So, I can now understand why you NEED to allocate more memory when using the Technic Launcher. The extra memory allocation mainly isn't for Java/Minecraft itself but rather FOR THE TECHNIC LAUNCHER. It is a shame since I can see the potential of it and what it was designed for. But, it was implemented absolutely horribly.
Magic Launcher is much more my thing. You can also easily and appropriately allocate less memory with Magic Launcher like I had stated. And, it's fast and is much easier to configure etc.
can you make it compatible with the mystic pack!!!
its an installer on skydaz.com is a pack or all the mystic mods mystic ores tools and stuff
and also netherrocks
I'll take a pretty screenshot for ya
Google Paint.NET it's easier than others i reckon. And instead of photoshop you could get GIMP 2.0, people say they're almost the same and it's free.
