A bit of a question, with the sheep sheared down to muscle and bone, how will they survive the bleeding? obviously they need to because they regenerate wool.

Good point, i'll add lots of band aids around the major arteries.
Also, sheep are really tough in my texture pack. I'll give them facial scars and eye patches and tattoos and such.
alot of textures are missing for me is there something I did wrong? I used mcpatcher and some textures are still missing
All that should be missing is the mobs and paintings. If anything else is, something is wrong. Get me a screenshot of what you're seeing and maybe i can tell you what's wrong.
Today i did the snowman (or snow golem if you prefer)
"They said it would never work... combining a cremulator and an ice machine into a single contraption... Ash and ice, together at last, who WOULDN'T buy one?!"
It's a strange idea i had... since in my pack snow biomes are basically a mini-ice age caused by ash blocking the sun and resulting in a freeze, why not make a snow golem on the same concept?
This here was a terrible invention, a cremulator and an ice machine combined into a single automaton. What's a cremulator? It's the thing that grinds up any solid bits left over after a body is cremated... or anything else that you've burned to charcoal and want to grind up. A butler who doubles as a dirty ice machine... but sadly lacks limbs, making him a terrible butler. There's really no practical use for one of these. Seriously, don't buy one.
As for the texture itself... it's a rusty metal thing with flaking white paint, a fancy logo on the front, and cooling coils in the back. I was aiming for something of an art deco style for the face.
My download is missing the birch leaves they're just normal textured leaves but white.
Very strange, birch leaves in my pack have some rather fancy metadata stuff going on, i'll need to look into what's causing it to not work (hopefully mojang went and seperated the oak and birch leaf textures, like they did for log tops, that would be very easy to fix)
Anyway, whatever the problem is, i'll be sure to get them working again before the next release. Thanks for pointing that out, even with all the testing i do, i still end up missing a few things.

Those things simply aren't added yet. They'll be in the next update along with the mobs. The pig saddle is done, i'll get to the horse saddle around whenever i get to horses.
Nice work and very good animated textures. I am looking to create an adventure map and would love to use your texture pack, all texture credits would go to you, but of course I need your permission.
Well, you can't distribute it yourself since that would interfere with updates and such, but if you're giving out my curse link, then by all means feel free.

I've got another idea for the snow golem. It could be some kind of ash-collecting robot designed to clean up the waste. However, they have fallen into disrepair and ash constantly pours out of holes in its sides. The story behind the urn-chucking thing could be that it's designed to fill itself up, and then spew out the waste into garbage disposal areas, or at people getting in the way of its goal-collecting ash.
This and your current snow golem both fit well with the pack, and I would like to hear why you did/didn't choose one idea or the other for the pack.
Thanks!

Nah, i'm more a fan of surrealist stuff that doesn't have to make sense as long as it looks cool. Aside from that, the snow golem is already finished. It's too rare of a mob to need varients.
I could however use some ideas for skeletons and zombies. I want the steampunk aspect to really show in them, but i don't want them to be robots.

The all new Crematifier 3000! (Mostly) Guaranteed to not use the ashes of your loved ones as projectile weapons!
Or you could make the wool itself be bandages wrapped around it!

also saddles and horse armour have vanilla texture.

Birch leaves have a seperate texture to oak leaves as of 1.6
same goes for jukebox sides, melon stems, log tops and I think that's it.

Until it supports partial transparency, that's as good as it gets.

i'm done
this is just..
...the best idea ever?
I want to keep them as zombies, or at least something rather undead, but somehow steampunk...
Maybe i'll just design some fancy victorian suits for them to wear and give them moustaches or something.
Now that would be cool!
*The bandit idea has already been used for the Last Days texture pack, the skeletons are bandits.*
