Time for the new game show: THE WAITING GAME! our first contestants: everyone waiting for curse to work!
Looks like this game will be a tough one, Tim. The pack has been done for nearly four days now, and it's been almost 24 hours since Curse's initial prediction of when the uploader will be fixed. On top of all that, 13th has refined some of his older textures and promised to start on the Armor textures as soon as this release gets out, and I think it's safe to say we've all been excited for that for a while. You can't buy this kinda anticipation, folks.
Some people already cracked and tried to manually import the graphics as 13th finishes and uploads them, but he's caught onto this and has become progressively more stingy with his static uploads, driving absolutely EVERYONE up the wall.
Now I've only been here for a couple months, but so far this week has been THE most suspenseful week so far. I'm not sure if I'm gonna make it through this round!

I've not gotten stingy with actual texture uploads, it's just that a lot of the stuff requires advanced ctm knowledge to actually put in the game... Anyway, ill just keep adding random bits until they fix it. There are plenty of small random files that are not important enough for a full release that i can add in. Lightmaps, shader files, and the like.
mediafire waits in the pits, awaiting 13thmurder to call him out of the bleachers
Mediafire banned me for copyright infringement, which is odd since all i ever uploaded was broken anachronism and a few minecraft maps. Appearently someone claimed to own the rights and had my stuff taken down, and... well, no more account. Appearently i'm not the first one this has happened to over textures >.>
...unless i actually did just forget my login information, but i really don't think that's the case.
I totaly agree. https://www.mega.co.nz is much better than Mediafire in my opinion. No ads, no waiting before downloading and much faster too. Sad to see so few using it on the Minecraft forums.
which begs the question, how do they make money? :\
The default texture uses mostly thin crescent shaped particles, so they appear more sparse, most of mine are fuller particles. So... yeah, i just drew it bigger.

I'd have to see them in-game, option 1 looks good for crusted over glass, but option 2 looks nice in terms of looking just plain old (you might want to increase the opacity though)

True, you really would need to see it ingame to get the full effect.
It's pretty easy to switch between them. I might add alt textures and instructions on how to change the blend mode in a folder in the next release, or just do 2 different uploads so there's an option.
I already did a few days ago.
because it looks so cool.

I don't enjoy torturing you*, but i can't make curse get fixed any faster.
*My lawer advised me to say this to seem less evil.

How'd you get the explosion particles so large?
Also check me out on:

Genius! Why didn't I think of that?

There are 2 options for blending mode, i can go with one or the other...
Overlay, which basically just uses the glass as a tint:
This is the more transparent option as you can see.
And alpha, which uses a semi-transparent solid layer. The amount of transparency can easily be controlled to make it more or less visible.
So, which one is better?

i’d like to be able to look through a window and see water.
the second one i think
Water is always visible through glass, with either blend method:
But the glass becomes invisible through water either way:
