I'm debating on putting them on planet minecraft as separate packs or not. On one hand, they're all subsets of Wolfhound... on the other, they're very distinct packs with new textures.
I think that you should put them up as different texture packs because they each have unique textures.
That's what I'm leaning towards, especially if I manage to make alternates for... just about everything.
I did some bookshelves today. Just the Heavenly and Dungeon ones. I expect Dungeon's popularity to continue to beat out Heavenly, especially since I picked purple for the book color on Heavenly. I like purple. It's a nice color. (but there's blue and green in there too as options)

I enjoy how you customize everything. It is really rare to see this much dedication in a texture pack. I am also going to bed and personally I like most of the Heavenly flavor.
Oh wow o: I shall have to look at all this new stuff!
Edit: Oh wow. Thistle, Wolfhound just went up a level, and I didn't realize there was a level for it to go up! I can't WAIT until I get on the desktop tomorrow, everything is just so wow and fantastic and awesome. Keep up the amazing work <3
Did a quick connected textures for the Nether Brick
That looks really good... I've never messed around with the connected textures, but that makes it look worth it. And mcpatcher supports more than just random mobs now? Man, I am behind! Gonna have to catch up on things tonight.
O-yeah, it supports more. You can have random textures, ordered, connected, animated (you can even animate mob textures) and change xp orb and sign colors. It's pretty cool. Misa's realistic pack keeps pretty up to date with the new features. That's a good place to see what you can all do.
How do the random textures work? Not sure if I'm going to do any of the connected textures aside from the netherbrick... I tried experimenting with the bookshelves and I'm not keen on how they turn out. Could you upload the sample netherbrick, btw? I'm not entirely sure how CTM works yet.
Oh yeah, almost forgot to mention. Asian bookshelf in the customizer, along with an alternate, and some new wood plank textures.
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/81293540/ctm.zip Here you go just drop the ctm folder into your pack zip. For some reason it didn't take when I threw it in there at first. I had to take the pack out of the texturepacks folder, and put it back in before it worked.
As for the random textures, first you need to create a .png and name it "random.png" or "wolfhoundrandom.png" or I really don't think it matters what you call it so long as you just keep the name consistent with your properties file. The png should be the same size as the terrain.png. In this case it'll be 1024x1024. Then add you textures for which ever block you want randomized starting from the top left corner, and moving to the right.
Next you'll need a properties file. This should be named "terrainxxx.properties" where "xxx" refers to the tile from the terrain.png. The tiles are labeled from 0-255 starting from top left. In here you'll need to specify where your .png that you'll be using is located, which method for ctm you'll be using, which tiles in your .png will be used for this, and (when using random as the method) how often you want each tile used, it's weight.
I'm not really good at explaining things, and this took me good long while to write so I hope it makes sense. If not, too bad lol. I'm pretty sure there's explanation about this stuff on mcpatcher's thread.
Oh, and here's the original template for connected textures
Thank you Lucid, I'll be including that in the next release, for sure! Not sure about the random textures though, as I just checked out the snapshot... and there's a new chest. I hate texturing chests... so I might be busy here in the next few days with that.
Also, I realized you can name the properties file by block id too. by renaming it to block112.properties you can then have different textures for nether brick then you would for nether fence and stairs.
using block id
using terrain location

Ok, last time I'm gonna cludder up you thread with this nether brick non-sense.=P
I figured out how to get rid of that line of runes appearing on the top of the block.
I need to stop reading the Minecraft forum frontpage... every time I turn around they're talking about a new texture! *is still working on snapshot stuff*
And omg, I'm looking at pictures of that Minecraft wedding... her dress. I love it so so much. And those bridesmaids! Dang! I thought the dress I wore as a bridesmaid was nice, but those blow it out of the water.

I am so off to bed now.
Also, I want suggestions on what should go on the fairy bookshelf. I shall review them when I get back from music practice.
shiny orbs! uhh maybe sparkly jars. Glittery vials. luminescent glass containers!
So lots of glowies. I shall see if I can oblige...
just wondering...
If/when you do split up the pack have you thought about adding support for the random textures that mcpatcher supports?
Edit: Oh wow. Thistle, Wolfhound just went up a level, and I didn't realize there was a level for it to go up! I can't WAIT until I get on the desktop tomorrow, everything is just so wow and fantastic and awesome. Keep up the amazing work <3

it should end up looking something like this
source=/ctm/wolfhoundrandom.png
method=random
tiles=0-20
weights=25 25 15 25 15 25 15 25 2 3 3 3 1 1 1 2 1 1 1 1 1
All of this then goes in your ctm folder.

change the properties file to say this

Awww, thank you! Making me blush.
So... anyone have any suggestions for what animal should go on the rumored emerald block?
a badger. Or does that not lend itself to ornateness? I'm stuck on rodents right now, so... Armadillo?
